Sovol SV06 Hotend Kit

This was a perfect replacement for my SV06 (non-plus). I had a print go bad and a really bad clog around the nozzle. One of the wires became damaged when I was cleaning it up. This was a 1:1 drop in replacement!

This is a good replacement for my original SV06 hotend. I had a pretty nasty melt. I was in the middle of a project with a hard deadline. Luckily I had ordered one these just to to have on hand. This was a perfect fit and a lifesaver. Yes, I will go back and clean up my original hotend in the near future, but in the meantime, this was an easy replacement that kept my machine up and running. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect replacement for my Sovol SV06

It's always good to have spare parts for items that have higher failure rate. This hotend is a great value that is easy to install as a whole or to just pick parts off of. You can keep geting quality prints with very little down time when you are prepared for the worst. This will get to you a whole lot faster then what Sovol will ship out in the US as well.

Great item and price

I saw that previous reviews said that this didn't come with screws and they're not listed in the description, but I'm happy to report that mine (purchased June 2024) came with a set. Also, for those who need it, the screw size is 2.5x10mm, and use the 2mm hex wrench. Keep in mind that this is for the SV06, and not for the SV06 Plus. I'm not sure why they decided to permanently afix the thermistor, but for the price, having it included is fine for me.

I tore off part of the nozzle on my hot end because I did something stupid taking it apart, so I had to get a new one for my Sovol 06. Shipped quickly to my house and with the Sovol videos, it was installed and ready for action in less than 10 minutes. For those wondering, I am a beginner with printing and do not have an electronic background. It was easy to do, though the 2 connector wires were stiffer than I anticipated. I recommend using small modelling plyers to connect the smaller one. I used the ones from a modelling toolkit bought here - look in my previous reviews for the name.

I recently, stupidly snapped off the nozzle in the hot end due to turning without being properly heated. I had to buy a new one because I was unable to get the broken nozzle out. It works as well as the stock one, very easy to install as it is a few screws and cables which are all easy to put in.
