95-8210 Double DIN Installation Kit Fits Select 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner Limited (Without Factory Navigation)

Fits great for me with a 2007 (4th gen) Toyota 4Runner SR5 with the former factory JBL synthesis stereo (without navigation). It was a little tight to get in there but I’d rather it fit snug than be loose. Definitely needed it after upgrading the stereo. I’m very happy overall. Would recommend.

Does NOT fit 2005 Toyota 4Runner. I have the factory JBL system and this kit doesn’t fit. The left and right side pieces are far too wide to fit the bezel and it can’t be installed with them attached. I installed it temporarily without them but there is a 1/4-1/2” gap on both sides of the unit. I orders because I saw reviews that said it would fit but it does not.

Set this up a while ago. Remember having a small issue but it worked well. Fitment isn't perfect, but much better than nothing at all. Looks and functions great. Well worth the money.

Be very careful before you buy your dash kit for the 4th Gen 4Runner. The size of the OEM head unit varies across 4Runners and this variation has nothing to do with what sub-model of 4Runner you have. So, saying "this doesn't work on the Sport Edition" is not helpful and only causes more confusion. This fits the opening if you have the pictured OEM head unit on your 4Runner. Your best bet is to go to crutchfield.com, input your exact OEM head unit features (navigation, RDS, etc.), put a head unit in your cart, then see what dash kit it tells you works with this set up. Follow the directions on install to the letter - take off the OEM metal mounts and re-align them with the new plastic mounts. It might seem like they don't line up, but they do. You just have to mess with it until it does.

It did not fit my 2004 Toyota forerunner. Maybe because it’s the Chinese radio that I bought.

Does not fit, it is to wide, I'd guess this is for one with navigation and the reviews are showing for both. Absolutely do not get this crap!!

Used in my 2006 Toyota 4Runner Limited with the factory JBL system and it wasn’t the easiest or perfect fit, but with some patience it worked great and looks very clean!

As the title states, I think it only works for 2003, 2004, and maybe 2005

Used this Dash kit on my 2003 4Runner, really good fit and finish. Only thing I would change is put another set of screws in the kit that are a touch longer. I had to use aftermarket screws, but no big deal.

Don’t buy. Doesn’t fit even though description says it should.
