What is the difference between 10.5 toddler and 10.5 little kid??

Toddlers-like baby, and little kid- like children.

Is child sizes equilivant to us sizes? my daughter is a 12.5 (7 1/4" foot), which size should i get? suggestions?

My granddaughter was a 10.5 at the time I bought them but I bought an 11 and they fit well due to the adjustable velcro strap which made them more comfortable for her. They do run narrow so I would buy a half size bigger if you want them to last the whole season.
