This is a good quality sturdy clear glass butter dish which looks nice on my table and is great value for money. The dish can be used with the butter on the tray and the lid placed over the block of butter or it can be reversed with the butter in the deeper end and the base as a lid. I prefer to put butter in the deep end as I feel it keeps the dish cleaner however, by using it my preferred way the writing on the side of the dish will be upside down (this is okay by me). It's a nice clean looking butter dish which prevents any mess. It measures 17 x 10 x 7cm and holds up to 250g of butter. I ordered this to use when my previously purchased Kilner Butter Dish is in the dishwasher. I would recommend this Kilner Glass Butter Dish

Good quality, perfect size and looks great too. Value for money. I was a bit concerned about it being glass when I ordered it, but I was positively surprised by the thickness of the glass when it arrived. Seals well, the lid doesn’t move around and I haven’t noticed the temperature and softness of the butter inside change at all. Holds temperature well.

I brought this for when I make home made butter. I don’t think you can go wrong with basics, it’s a good butter dish with a simple and neutral design and standard size to fit a shop brought butter block. I’ve put it in the dishwasher with no problem.

Lovely solid glass butter dish. Sometimes I find it hard to pick up the lid due to not enough grip. Would have been nice if it had a little glass handle on top. Overall I am happy, looks lovely on the kitchen side, very good quality.

I bought this Kilner butter dish to store butter safely on the countertop. It’s excellent quality and keeps butter fresh, though I do wish it had a handle on top for easier lifting. Overall, a very good product that I’d recommend.

It seems a bit strange to enthuse about a butter dish, but that's exactly what Mrs Sunshine and I are doing. This is a replacement for an almost identically-shaped one that broke after many years of excellent service. The shape is perfect, the lid seals well and the glass moulding is superb quality. The "Kilner" branding is nicely formed. It looks good on the breakfast table and washes perfectly in the dishwasher. It's a nice little touch of luxury in our otherwise very simple lives!

Very heavy glass butter dish. It looks very stylish on my counter. I wish there was a knob or handle as lifting the lid can be tricky with greasy fingers. Personally I like it for looks and ease of cleaning. Being able to see how much butter is in there helps with knowing if I need a refill at a glance.

Great quality

Although the overall quality looks good, the lid is sliding when the butter dish is closed - this is not what I would expect from the product. I would expect the lid to sit tightly on top of the bottom part and to not move back and forth because it makes the product unstable and easy to slip.
