The Rice cooker works great. It takes about 15min to cook 1 cup of rice and came out perfect, small simple to use. We’ll be using it for camping.

Great little rice cooker. I make my two little dog’s food every day and this is a great tool for preparing nutrient rich ingredients to their lives. Used several times so far, easy to use, easy to clean. I’m satisfied with my purchase. This is the perfect size rice cooker for fresh rice for one person and two dogs. I was using the instant pot cooker and find this is faster, easier and the rice does not stick like it has been with the instant pot.

Funny story! I originally purchased this mini rice cooker in October 2023 because I was traveling and staying in an Airbnb — and I don’t know how to cook rice in a regular pot. 😅 It came in very handy for that trip and for future stays in hotels with full kitchens when I needed to prepare my own meals. It’s compact, easy to pack, and incredibly simple to use. Fast forward to January 2026 — I started having issues using my larger rice cooker for smaller portions. When I made big batches, I’d end up eating all the rice. But when I tried cooking a smaller amount in the larger cooker, the water wouldn’t properly cover the rice, and it would come out hard or slightly burnt. So I pulled this mini rice cooker back out — and it has truly been saving the day and keeping me on track with my meal plan a few times per day. For reference, 1.3 oz of dry jasmine rice cooks up to about 4 oz cooked, which is exactly the portion I need. No waste. No overcooking. No temptation to overeat. Eventually, I’d like to go back to batch cooking and simply scooping out what I need, but for now, this little cooker is doing exactly what I need it to do. If you’re looking for something compact, reliable, and perfect for single servings, this is it. Highly recommend! Just be sure to use a wooden spoon when scooping out your rice to protect the nonstick insert.

As a rice coker, it's okay but I was disappointed in that I use long grain Basmati Rice. I've never had to rinse it for stove top preparation but the rice from this cooker came out sticky. That might be good for sushi but as a side dish, not so good. Basmati is an aged aromatic rice so the taste is going to be dependent on the taste of the water and the flavour of the rice itself.

My large “instant” cooker stopped working recently and the thought of making rice on the stove, well it’s such a mess…. So I went looking for a rice cooker for just me and I stumbled across this one. I read all the reviews, especially the negative ones and the positive ones far out numbered the bad reviews. So I get this delivered and now I had to wait to make rice for a meal. That was last night. I thoroughly read the instructions, yes they are confusing, but just know that you should. Wash before hand!! Tip: ONLY use ONE of the PROVIDED measuring cup for the rice. I added the rice (it is a pretty good amount too) and then added the water. I like my rice on the tender side so I added enough “extra” water that just went over the 1.5 line in the base. I closed and locked the lid, plugged it in and turned it on. I set my microwave timer to 30 minutes (as recommended in the book) and if it didn’t turn out the fluffiest, not stuck together rice, I was going to be not happy. (ps… rinse the rice first like it says). It turned out amazing. I popped off the (be careful of how hot it is) and there sat a beautiful little pot of white rice. All fluffed up with a fork, now it was time to eat. Yes it was tender, but as with anything new, I’ll need to keep experimenting to find the exact amount of water (to me it needed a bit more). Next time I will add butter and my seasoning to the rice before cooking, giving my side dish the flavor I like. This little compact unit sits quietly on the shelf until I need it again. I didn’t experience one single issue others have raised for this unit. It won’t last forever, but it will give me the most bang for my money right now. If you only want to make 2-3 servings of rice, this is your new best option.

This is a cute, adorable, "fun size" rice cooker that does a fantastic job, FAST job, and very easy to use and clean. With traditional popular rice cookers most buy these days- they seem to take a long time (at least 20 mins if not 30 or more)? And they always seem to "spout" in their vents to dirty up the thing. Not this one. I was shocked the first time i used this and the rice was ready in what- 15 mins? But its' true. I will start the rice, then start cooking my meat/veggies and the rice cooker will finish just before i'm finished cooking the meat/rice. PERFECT! it's also clean and easy. NO dirty vented spout "schmutz" with this unit. Very clean very quiet. Can load up to 2 cups (measuring indicators in the removable pot), but I would say do 1.5 cups at the most. (i'll try 2 cups once and update this review if there was a problem). Small enough to just take the pan out, turn it over, tap it to empty it onto a serving dish. Rinse the pan out. DONE. so in 15 mins you have cooked, dished, and cleaned the thing for 1.5 cups per 15 mins. Excited also b/c its size means you can use it at an office/work desk, camping, road tripping, plug it into a car , etc. fresh rice in 15 mins wherever you want? AWESOMENESS!

This is a great product for 2 people who has limitation for rice consumption. It’s potable and very easy to use. We tested variety of Asian rice and it performed very well. After few months of use, it stopped working. The product support offered only $15 refund. We declined because, it was a manufacturer defect. Amazon did a full refund. We r looking for a similar product to buy. If you buy and encounter similar issue, contact Amazon right-way. The product comes with 1 year manufacturer warranty. Keep the defective product until it issue resolves.

I got this rice cooker to replace a nearly identical one that I absolutely loved that fell victim to a house move. It's great as a personal rice/grain cooker - doesn't take up a lot of space one the counter, can feed up to 3 people pretty comfortably, but still small enough for just one. Also very good if you are prone to forgetfulness at the end of a long day, as it automatically switches to warm mode when finished cooking & can keep your rice warm for a couple of hours without burning it (although I wouldn't recommend doing this routinely). Even if you unplug it after it's done cooking, it's well-insulated enough that your food will still stay warm for an hour or so. This thing is an absolute life-saver :) This vendor as well was also really helpful and proactive when it was mis-delivered at first (not their fault at all), and also in addressing some small faults in the first rice cooker I was sent - I am one very satisfied customer, and can only recommend them.

I have a Wolfgang Puck 7 cups rice cooker for over 10 years and I want to give a try to that cute mini rice cooker. WOW. Do a great job, 2/3 cup of jasmine rice with twice the amount of water. Cooked perfectly. Tried Uncle Ben's seasoned rice, couscous and oatmeal. Done perfecty without any mess. Very easy to clean the event. A charm. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Like: Small, compact, very cute! cooking capacity is enough for my 8yo son. Doesnt like: Power cord not comparable to Aust power point and the outer of pot is HOT while cooking. It wont pass a Safety test if it's tested here in Aust. Thanks, Winnie
