Amazing oils for palette knife, this set is a good value
These paints are so perfect for palette knife or impasto, they dry quickly with a beautiful finish, they are a pleasure to paint with. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and knocked out this still life in about 30 minutes (not my best work lol) and I just love them, the palette is a little "old world" for me but I'll be adding a Lukas cool yellow, a magenta and a warmer green right away. This set is a great value to try these out, I am really impressed with the pigment load, handling and overall workability of these paints, they scream European elegance, btw I've been a painter for over 30 years and have used all the top brands including Old Holland, Williamsburg and Charvin. My only worry is that they will stop making them someday but for now I will enjoy painting with them daily and am already adding to my palette with more Lukas colors.
