Integral LED Low Energy Dusk Till Dawn Sensor Light Bulb ES E27 Screw Cap =60w Warm White 2700K,8 Watts

Bought this for the open porch on our 1920's semi. (The type with an open, covered area in front of the front door with half glass panels either side of the door and above the door). Didn't know if it would work due to the porch being North facing and quite shaded even on a bright day. Well... It works perfectly! Comes on at about 7pm, a little before dusk at this time of year and goes off at 6:45-7:00am, roughly at the daylight level you would want to normally 'switch' it off if you were doing it manually. Nice amount of warm white light, bright enough to illuminate both our porch/step area and our hall through the glass. Ive had a plug in dawn to dusk bulb holder in the past but it wasn't very effective due to only having one sensor. This bulb has 2 sensors which is probably why it's perfect for where I'm using it. It's also inside a semi frosted glass shade which I thought I might have to remove for it to get enough light to work, but no, it's working great as it is. Highly recommend it. Well packaged too. (I'll try to add some photos of it when it's on tonight) Update- over 4 years later this great little bulb is still going strong. Nearly 1500 dusk switch ons, 1500 Dawn switch offs and not one problem. Would definitely buy another but think this one might just last forever.

The bulb is good value and works well, especially when it starts getting dark and it comes on. Very useful if you are out and it automatically comes on when it dusk and goes off when it starts getting g light, very useful .

Work a treat .. previous lamps were 9W 6000k but can’t see any real difference with these. Used for driveway security . Very fast delivery.. excellent service

Reasonably bright and light sensor seems to work fine. I've got these placed outside in some porch lantern lights and they come on at dusk and go off again in the morning. What is particularly good is the fact that there are two light sensors on each bulb on opposite sides so that if you for example end up having one positioned against a wall, the other side should still get light. I've personally positions such that one sensor is east and the other is west in order to maximise the amount of time they are off for. The lights are quite bright and certainly bright enough for a porch. In terms of reliability I will have to update after I've had them a bit longer. UPDATE October 2019: After 10 months, one of the bulbs has gone this evening. I've reduced a star due to the reliability... UPDATE2 October 2019: I thought the bulb had gone, but in fact it had just come loose on the screw, tightening the screw ever so slightly was enough to resolve it. 5 stars restored UPDATE3 March 2020: I have bought a BC22 version of the same light and it works just fine too. Note, unlike with ES, you have zero play on the holder as to the orientation of the light sensors. So in a way, I wished I had 4 sensors since these are not at optimal light reception angle. However it does seem to work, will update again if anything changes.

This is perfect for my back garden, not too bright to upset the neighbours but bright enough that I can see the area by my patio doors and feel secure. Does what it says on the pack to, comes on just as it is starting to get dark in the evening and goes off just as it is starting to get light in the morning.

Product has come with an energy rating of F. Unfortunately, I had not paid enough attention while I was placing the order .

This is falsely advertised as a 2 pack however just received my shipment and it only contains one globe. Would definitely not have bought this item if it was advertised correctly
