Anchor Hocking Fire-King 16 Oz Glass Measuring Cup

I use the 4 cup measuring cup to measure flour for my bread machine. Wish the ink on the outside lasted longer .

I purchased a new set of Anchor Hocking glass measuring cups in February 2013 because the ones I received as a wedding gift in 1964 had the old "C" shaped handles and were hard to stack together in my cupboard. The glass was beginning to look its age with a lot of scratches. However, the printing was as good as new. I only bought a new one-cup this spring because I dropped my new one on a very hard surface and it broke. This cup is well made and easy to read. It's very handy for melting chocolate and butter and for measuring small amounts of liquids. It also nests nicely in my two cup which nests nicely in my four cup which nests nicely in my eight cup. All those cups in the space of my eight cup measuring cup! Great handle design! I've read the reviews stating that the red markings came off, but have not had this happen even though I always wash them in the dishwasher with the temperature boost on. It seems this problem may have been corrected.

100均でもいいかと思ってましたが、メモリがすぐ消えるし泡立て機で倒れるのがストレスで購入。 なんでもっと早く買わなかったんだろう。 生クリームの泡立ても飛び散りにくいし、 レンジで味醂の煮切りも簡単。 ちょっと重いけど、もうコレなしでは成り立たないほど重宝してます。

This is Great for meassuring. It is one of the few top brands which have measurements info for both sides of the atlantic. Very usefull. Makes it much easier to follow recipies you find on the internet and/or books:)
