Paddington Pop-Up London: Movie tie-in: Iconic pop-up book from the movie, Paddington 2!

This pop-up book is way more impressive than it needs to be. I opened it expecting “cute,” and instead got a full architectural experience. Half the time I’m more amazed than my kid. The little scenes pop up so perfectly it feels like Paddington might actually climb out and ask for a snack. My child loves it… but I’m the one carefully turning the pages like it’s a priceless artifact. 10/10—adorable, interactive, and just stressful enough to remind you that tiny hands and delicate paper are a risky combo.

I was very hesitant to purchase this at first due to some less than stellar reviews. I am sooooo glad I ignored them and bought this adorable pop-up book. Yes, it is just like the one in the movie, that is the point!!! The illustrations are vintage and adorable. Pop-ups are stellar, just make sure to keep out of reach from the youngest kiddos, as they could obviously tear the pages. This book is also a fantastic and unique gift! Lastly, it is decent in size not too small!

I bought this for my niece. So cute, just be careful opening for the first time- open slowly!

First of all regarding other reviews, I want to mention that my book was shipped to me from Amazon fulfillment inside a cardboard book container. I really want Amazon to keep doing this - I received too many books that are banged up due to being shipped in a plastic sleeve. Second, for what’s on the market today regarding pop-up books, this is an amazing bargain. I think Paddington would approve. There are six sections of pop-up, the first one and last one are very small, but the four on the inside of the book are excellent, very large pop-ups. This will entertain any child especially if they are a Paddington fan. An excellent movie tie-in, and I suspect because of the low cost may be because it’s printed in China, This book was imported to the United States from a UK publisher, Harper Collins. Mike Likes It.

It took me a while to buy this but I eventually did, after watching Paddington 2. The pop-up book is significantly sturdy but one must still be mindful with the pages - after all, it is still paper and it can rip if you're rough or careless. The pages that emulate the scenes from the movie are very, very similar. I was very happy with that aspect of it. But it wasn't quite as fancy/luxuriously detailed as what the movie originally shows (before it cuts to Paddington's dream sequence). When I purchased it, it was a little discounted - just over $20 with shipping, so it was not too bad, but I am not the most versed in pop-up books so I can't say if it was an outstanding deal or just the going price.

We watch the paddington movies often and our daughter always loves the pop up book scenes in the second movie. This made for a great Christmas gift and is really nice quality.

My son LOVED the book! He was super excited to read it over and over again. The book is super deatailed and lovely pictures of London and the movie. I love the pop up features in a way it makes you feel like you are in London. Just word it would have more pages to it. Loved the packaging, the book made it to it new home super safe and without damage! Will buy again. Wish / hopefully next time in Prime??

I was amazed at how well this book is made and the detail in the pop ups is absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to share this book with my grandchildren over the Christmas Holidays.
