Excellent clock, reminds you of day and date, clear and is easy to set up

I bought this for my mum who has dementia and it's still early days but I believe this will help her with her dates as she is often confused with what day it is. The display is perfect for her as it clearly shows time, date, year and whether it's morning or afternoon. Haven't tried the alarms yet but so far I love it and it really does seem to help

My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia and glaucoma so this clock is perfect. The digital display is very clear with not only the time but the date and day of the week clearly displayed. Perfect for someone with sight and memory issues. The display can be altered to suit individual needs. It looks very stylish and we keep it on a small table were my mother can see it at all times. We keep it plugged into the mains so she can see it at all times. It was really easy to set up and I would recomend it for anyone but especially elderly people like my mother .

Reverse time adjustment dials unpredictable to use. Otherwise bright, clear and suits needs for a dementia patient to check, day, time and date.

I loved it from the moment I plugged it in. I’m always asking what day it is and what’s the date and know I don’t have to! We have it in the living room and it also works as a night light. We love it! Highly recommended.

Not too terribly tricky to set the timers, chimes, etc., though not the greatest of instructions. Automatically corrects to time/day, etc. on plug-in. This little clock is the next best thing for dementia minds and seniors who love clocks that chime. The chime actually sounds like a grandfather clock and volume can be raised or lowered to please hearing levels. Displaying that it is morning, afternoon, or night and what day of the week along with the calendar day is very supportive to my mom's dementia needs. She may still ask what day, time, etc. when away from it, but she loves being able to look at it and see the actual day of week, and all other info displayed. I've set the chimes so that it only goes off during the day time and actually skips off for her nap times. She was a little annoyed at the medicine minders and I turned that off, it was like the annoying alarm clock when you wake up in the morning! Wish it would just speak out the reminder like Alexa! She loves the chimes very much and appreciates how this little clock helps keep her abreast of her day. A great addition to support mom's dementia!

Elderly mother can't keep track of what day, month or calendar date it is. I can't report on longevity of this clock as she has only had it a couple of weeks, but I can report she loves the thing. Having the beginning of dementia, the clock has helped her know without asking me numerous times what day it is. She points it out to everyone who enters her home and tells everyone who calls her about it. She has "her seat" on the couch facing the television, the clock is beside the television. She says this is the perfect location as all she has to do is look straight ahead. She wants me to purchase one for her elderly boyfriend because she thinks he will enjoy it too. I suspect it's so there is one in his home for her to refer to when she visits him, not because he needs one to keep on track himself. lol I read the positive/negative reviews prior to purchasing. Seems most all brands only function correctly a relatively short period of time before having problems. I spend more money eating out than this costs, so if it gives my mom joy, peace of mind and minimizes some points of confusion for her for even six months, then it's worth every penny. Set up was fairly simple as she only needed the time, date, day, year and morning/night dimming features. I didn't set up alarms or use it as a slide show for photos etc. Just the basic settings. The first day I set it up she didn't seem impressed. The next day it occurred to her how helpful it was and the happiness began. Yes, $45 for a plastic digital clock is a bit pricey, but it's been worth it to remove some basic confusion from her life.
