So good I wrote a review!
As a naturally sceptical person with no proven ability in anything but the most basic of DIY tasks, I was hoping the Hardwall Tacker would be effective in mounting pictures to a hard wall in a bedroom with a minimum of fuss, but somewhat dubious it would be anything but too good to be true. What I can report is that it’s as good as claimed. I was surprised with the ease with which I was able to drill the hole for the tack (which nestled securely when inserted, offering a deceptively sturdy mounting), requiring firm, but not particularly heavy, pressure. There was almost no mess, and the hole was, broadly speaking, hardly visible. The plastic picture mounting hook included clipped onto the tack well and seems to offer a good degree of security. I’ve only mounted a lightweight (less than 2kg) but large (91cm x 91cm) box canvas to date, but it was a job of mere minutes. The instructions were very clear, and I have a high degree of confidence that this will stay up. It’s certainly cheaper than buying a drill!

Best kit to hang up pictures
We have moved into a new house and I always struggle a bit with hanging up pictures, especially mid to larger sized pictures that need more than those light superficial pins This is a life-saver. It is super easy to use and takes no time to put up a hook with minimal damage to the wall. I have put up a few large frames of about 5-10 kg and it seems to be working very well. My ONLY criticism is that you get a limited number of hooks, far less than the number of pins they supply with it. Does not make sense to me, seems just a way to make extra repeat purchases necessary

It really works. Very pleased with this gadget. Worth the money.

Good idea
It works, not many fittings and the drill bit dulls. It would be a good idea to have a built in spirit level. Otherwise it's easy to use and a good idea.

Easy to use
Only used it once to hang a large framed print. Worked a treat. I am useless at drilling the right sized hole and this looks like it will be a godsend.

Drilled two holes before needing a replacement drill bit
Have been used to houses with plasterboard walls until now, so after buying a house with solid wall was looking for the best way to put up pictures with minimal fuss. Saw this thing - it looked a bit pricey but easy to use so took a gamble. First picture, hole drilled nicely and plastic hook inserted no problem. Same with the second. On the third it didn't seem to be working as well, but continued with that and the fourth. However, on trying to insert the two hooks found they did not go in all the way - drill hadn't gone deep enough. No amount of extra effort would make the holes deeper. Inspecting the drill bit shows its now flat. It now barely even gets through the wall paper for where I want the next hole. So, in effect, an initial outlay of £25 plus now £5 per two holes I need for the extra drill bits. Nope. The plastic inserts ARE good and do hold as they say, and I would have perhaps considered a star for just those ... but they too are overpriced for what they really are.

So quick and no mess
It's not often I'd write a review, but I bought this on a whim. It is amazing. Took minutes to get my pictures up. No mess and no tools other than this. It's a great purchase.

Perceuse pour faire des trous pour la pose des cadres ou des choses légères. J'ai eu un peu de mal pour la prise en main, mais je suis une femme et je n'ai jamais fait de bricolage, maintenant je peux enfin poser mes cadres.
