Larger Than I Thought, Keeps Out Grasshoppers
I bought these to protect my plants from grasshoppers, and they work great. The bags are durable but let air and water in and don't crunch down my plants. I piled some bark chips around the bottom opening to make it more secure. Have been using these a month and plants grew lots of new leaves! I was surprised how large these are, I have the largest on a 4 foot bushy lilac with room to spare. The bags seemed a bit too large for my newly planted berries, but I just pulled the bag up inside and over a tomato cage (see pic) to give my plants room. They do look like white sacks, but you could remove them for a party. Wish I would have found these earlier!

Effective and let's in enough light, water and air circulation for tomatoes
I got this because a chipmunk was taking bites out of all my cherry tomatoes. Needed the six foot height to get over the top of my tomato trellis, but the 6 ft width was a lot of extra fabric. This ended up being quite effective, after adjustment below, and lets in ample light. Easy to water through. Taking off one star because the cinching mechanism at the base is rather weak. After about a week, the chipmunk was able to pull the base out enough to get inside the netting, where I caught it with a tomato. It had trouble getting out, so I opened the zipper and let it go. This time, I twisted the extra fabric at the base of the planter to cinch it in, and put a heavy ceramic strawberry pot over the site to hold everything in place. Getting lots of ripe cherry tomatoes, now. I did find another brand that had a 6' x 4' mesh sac with a nicer zipper, which I used parachute rope to cinch tighter under the lip of the planter. However, this other brand material is just a little thicker and more opaque, with water beading up rather than going through and it killed my other tomato plant with a combination of blight and reduced sunlight. So although this one feels more flimsy, I conclude it was much better in letting in light and sufficient airflow. I just have to trim some of the leaves that are in direct contact with the bag if they start to show brown spots. In the photo, the other brand that promoted blight is the one on the left, and the two bags I got from this order are in the center and right.

Makes harvesting easier.
Zipper makes it easier to harvest. I am using it over my 6 tier greenstalk. Now, I don't have to take the cover completely on and off to harvest.

Works as it should.
It works as it should. The size is perfect. It keeps the bugs out of my tomatoes . Easy to use. The only issue I had is out of the four bags I received one was not sewn closed as the other three.

Best Solution to Critters Digging In Seeded Pots of Veggie Plants
My deck garden is safer with these 'net covers.' I fight with squirrels all the time - trying to keep them out of my veggie garden pots!! These nets are long enough to wrap around the bottom of the large pot. The have a plastic adjuster that allow you to tighten them from the bottom. Since I plant from seed, I use bamboo sticks to hold the net off the dirt. The nets pierce easily - so be extra careful.

Protects against Wind, Rain and Pests
During the Spring and Summer, we often get a lot of high winds which takes off a lot of the blooms. This year, we decided to protect our Cara Cara orange and red grapefruit trees to ensure more blooms survived. Our winter has extended to March so far. There has been very high winds, lots of rain and of course afterwards a lot of bugs. We put these on about a month ago and I am so thankful that we did. Our orange tree has a ton of blooms that are opening and even have fruited. That would not have happened if we didn't cover the trees. I never thought these covers would work and why I never purchase them. But these covers are wonderful. When the wind is high, you barely see the tree limbs move. The rain still wets the tree and ground but the cover protects the blooms from falling off and lastly, we do not have to worry about caterpillars and other flying insects chewing on our trees. I bought them larger than my trees so that I can use them again for another two years. This is one of my gardening purchases that was worth every penny.
