It Adds A Little Something Special!
I love night time photography with this lens on my 40mm. The products fits the camera without issue and works well every time, it’s all in user setting and how you edit the photo. It’s thick and weighty enough to feel like a quality product and the way the halation spreads the colors so naturally. The product doesn’t feel cheap and it’s easily tossed into a bag or case with a cloth. It’s really upped the look of my liminal photography.

Very high quality stuff, would definitely recommend, great value, well made
I'm always impressed by K&F concept products, and this one is no exception. For a very reasonable price, you get a very high quality filter, and the effect is very nice, I couldn't differentiate it from Tiffen black Pro missed. It's very well built, the ring is very rugged and feels well machined. It fits well, and is very easy to screw in and out. I'd like to find a way to remove the glass from the ring, but I haven't found a way to do so. It seems pretty easy to clean too, microfiber cloth is about all you need.

Great for photos and videos
This is one of the best purchases ever. On photos it looks amazing but specifically on video it gives you that film like quality. My Sony cameras is extremely sharp so it kinda looks too digital or something of that nature but add one of these on in your videos will come out TV quality. Great fit great value for money and easy to put on and takeoff.

Good Quality filter
I purchased this lens filter for a mist effect on my fuji 23 mm lens and it does a good job not being to harsh or too soft at a 1/4 I have enjoyed the filter and am looking to see what other filter effects to try out.

K&F Concept Review
Likes: I like the quality of the rim. It is made of a metallic feeling material that feels sturdy. The lens comes with a bonus of lens wipes which is amazing. Glare reduction is not seemingly high. Value is amazing compared to its competitors. Size is amazing and still works with original lens cap. Functions as told through pictures, and demos. Cons: One small con, for a minute I was worried that it wasn’t fitting properly however it takes a while of rotating it on the lens in order for it to be put into place. It does remain sturdy at the end.

K&F Concept Black Diffusion Filter – A Must-Have for Cinematic Shots!
I recently picked up the K&F Concept 58mm Black Diffusion 1/4 Filter, and it’s been an awesome addition to my camera gear! It creates a beautiful, cinematic mist effect that softens the image just the right amount—perfect for video work. The filter is easy to attach and fits perfectly on my lens. I also love the 18 multi-layer coatings that help reduce flare and improve overall image clarity. Whether you're shooting a short film or just want to add some creative flair to your videos, this filter is a great way to elevate your shots. Highly recommend for filmmakers looking to enhance their visuals!

Super filtre : il adoucit les hautes lumières, apporte une belle ambiance ‘ciné’ et garde un contraste équilibré. La construction est solide et le filetage fluide. Parfait pour portraits et scènes nocturnes.

I grabbed the K&F Concept Nano-X Black Mist 1/4 Filter (82mm) from Amazon a few days ago to pair with my Canon EOS R5 and 7artisans 35mm T1.05 lens, and holy cow, this little piece of glass is a game-changer for my YouTube videos and photos! As a content creator chasing that dreamy, film-like vibe, I’ve been testing this filter for both video and stills, and here’s my honest take. What’s Awesome: Cinematic Glow: This filter adds a subtle, hazy glow to highlights that screams “Hollywood” without overdoing it. Shooting with my R5 and 7artisans lens at T1.05, I got gorgeous, bloomy highlights in backlit scenes—like streetlights at dusk or window light on a subject—that make my vlogs look straight out of a movie. The 1/4 strength is perfect; it’s noticeable but not so heavy that it screams “filter!” Softens Without Sacrificing Detail: The filter softens harsh edges and reduces contrast, giving my footage and photos a less “digital” feel. Skin tones look smoother (great for talking-head videos), yet I still get sharp details in the focus area. Paired with the 7artisans lens in crop mode on my R5, it’s a dreamy combo for portraits and product shots. Top-Notch Build: The aviation-grade aluminum frame feels solid, and the 28-layer nano-coating is legit—scratch-resistant, waterproof, and no glare issues in my tests. It screws smoothly onto my 7artisans lens, and at just 26g, it doesn’t add bulk to my SmallRig cage setup. The included hard plastic case is a nice touch for keeping it safe in my bag. No Vignetting Worries: I was stoked to find zero vignetting, even with the 35mm lens in APS-C crop mode (about 56mm equivalent). This matches what I’ve read online—no edge darkening, even in bright daylight or wide-open apertures. Budget-Friendly: At around $40-$60 for the 82mm size, this filter is a steal compared to pricier brands like Tiffen or Moment. It delivers pro-level effects without draining my wallet, which is huge for an indie creator like me. What’s Not Perfect: Subtle in Some Scenes: In flat or low-contrast lighting, the effect can be so subtle you barely notice it. I shot some overcast outdoor scenes, and the mist effect was less pronounced than I hoped. It shines most with strong highlights (e.g., neon signs or backlighting), so plan your shots accordingly. Slight Warmth: I noticed a tiny warming effect on colors, especially in daylight. It’s not a dealbreaker (easy to tweak in post with Premiere or Lightroom), but it’s worth noting if you’re obsessive about color accuracy. Not for Every Shot: This isn’t a filter you’ll leave on all the time. For crisp, high-contrast landscapes or super-detailed product shots, I take it off to avoid softening the image too much. It’s more of a creative tool than a must-have like an ND filter. Learning Curve for Video: For video (like my YouTube b-roll), the effect looks best at wider apertures (T1.05-T2.8). At smaller apertures (e.g., T5.6), the diffusion can feel underwhelming. It took a few test shots to dial in the right look with my Zhiyun Crane 2 setup. The Verdict: The K&F Concept Black Mist 1/4 Filter is a must-have for creators who want to add a cinematic, film-like vibe to their videos and photos without spending a fortune. It’s transformed my R5 footage with the 7artisans 35mm lens, giving my vlogs and portraits a soft, glowing aesthetic that’s perfect for storytelling. The build is solid, it plays nice with my gear, and the price is unbeatable for the quality. Just know it’s a specialty tool—best for scenes with strong highlights or when you want that dreamy, nostalgic feel. I’m already eyeing night shots with neon lights to see how it pops! If you’re an indie filmmaker or photographer looking to level up your visuals, this filter’s a no-brainer. Grab it, play with it, and watch your shots turn magical!
