Colgate Total Active Preventive toothpaste is a great toothpaste with the active ingredient being stannous fluoride which has the purpose of anticavity and antigingivitis as well as antisensitivity. This was just the toothpaste I was looking for and a toothpaste my dentist recommended as I was hoping for a toothpaste that had a whitening benefit. It doesn’t have a strong taste to it, it’s actually very fresh tasting. I’ve been using it for about a month and it’s shown some improvement in the whitening of my teeth. I was quite impressed in reading on the box it fights the root cause of gingivitis, plaque, tartar, cavities, sensitivity, bad breath, enamel, erosion, and stains. This is a great toothpaste that I’m glad I found on Amazon. The size of the tube being 5.1 ounce in a four pack was a great price I utilized with Amazon’s subscribe & save program. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this toothpaste! My family has always used toothpaste from Colgate, but this one in particular we've used since I was 12/13 years old. It works very well! As expected, I brush my teeth in the morning and at night, and everytime, I walk away with a fresh smelling breath. It's definitely not one of those all-natural ingredient type of toothpastes that have become all the rave recently on social media, but it's a great quality toothpaste that will help you avoid cavities and other oral issues. I also like the texture: it doesn't feel gritty or runny in my mouth. The tube size is also good. It's enough for a family of 6 to use for 2 weeks. When you wet the toothpaste, it becomes foamy. However, it doesn't become too foamy as long as you avoid having too much in your mouth to begin with. All in all, I love this toothpaste, and I will continue to use it for many more years to come!

Every time I use someone else's toothpaste in a different brand, I'm a little grossed out. This doesn't taste like spearmint or pepsin, thankfully. Colgate does a good job of cleaning, and it does a good job of freshening my breath. The big tubes are a good value. My only complaint is that it says "preventative instead of preventive." Their marketing department should know better.

Great value and good quality. Has great all in one benefits. Pretty good as far as whitening goes. Too many years of coffee. I store them in my pantry and have them on subscription so I'm always set.
