These knob replacements are fantastic! The original ones on the stove were cheap plastic and the paint peeled pretty quickly. These are actually steel, much heavier, and look so much better. GE should up their game and use higher quality knobs on their stoves. Do not look further. These are the perfect replacement.

These stainless knobs are so much nicer than the plastic ones that came with the stove. The numbers had started to peel off and these look and feel so much better. I thought they were a good value for the quality of the knobs.

I have replaced these several times in the last couple years. Sometimes a couple months apart. As a matter of fact all the controls knobs have had to be replaced and this is a 4 year old stove. And these are what were supplied on the stove originally. The control knobs are very prone to break because of their plastic back design where they connect to the stove. Some slip onto the stove easily and others harder. The plastic fatigues from the stress , cracks and eventually they break off. My application is where you have to push the knob in and then turn it to light a burner. The challenges are two fold. One, if you turn the knob before it is fully pushed in, or turn it in the wrong direction,you are micro-stressing the thin plastic further and it will eventually crack and break. Two, If the knob is harder to install then it is again pre-stressing the plastic and now prone to cracking. Optimally, this connecting part should not be made of thin plastic. Lastly, some of these knobs come with a metal reinforcing ring. This makes them harder to install/remove and prone to break in a different way at the base from removal and installation for cleaning. Again, plastic is the wrong material and a metal support ring just moves the fatigue point to a different part of the knob, the base. So buy these knowing you may replace them very often. One star because nothing lasts forever, but stove control knobs should last more than a couple months.

Stainless shell, good quality, directly fits. Priced excellent. Way way better than the original plastic original equipment that came with the stove

I wish I would have known about these sooner Our GE stove came with some super cheap plastic knobs and when our house keepers used a new kind of cleaner, all of the silver color peeled off These were upgrades that made a great improvement that we didn’t know we needed They feel heavier in our hand in all the right ways Highly recommend

These stove knobs are heavy duty, maybe over built but, they look and feel better than the GE OEM knobs that are thin and feel cheap. Recommended.

They are a bit heavier and better quality than the ones GE had on it. I had to replace the originals cause I soaked them in Dawn and water and the silver coating peeled off! These seem to have the numbers permanently affixed instead.

Update: 2 of the knobs are now broken. The knobs on our stove were cheap and peeling. These knobs are so much better. They fit perfectly. Very pleased with my purchase!

The outside is quality the inside plastic portion doesn't seem to hold up well.
