How do you get the loop to click in the complete the loop? We have it completely put together put where it opens it won't connect.

It's not supposed to fully connect- it pops apart when you get the car in exactly into the right spot on the tail. Hard to explain- the car goes around the loop and gets to the indent in the tail which make the TRex stand up- he can't do that if the the loop won't release
