A Fun and Versatile Head Covering
When my hair fell out for the second time as a result of long-term chemotherapy, I comforted myself by splurging a little on some slightly more pricey headgear. As you know if you've tried them, regular scarves tend to slip right off a bald head. I don't like wigs, since any I've tried have been hot, itchy, and refused to stay in place. I have been delighted with this selection. The online picture doesn't do it justice; the colors are more neutral than they seem in the picture, a very nice combination of tan, brown, and black; and the pattern is a combination of mottled spots with more open, stripey parts--a common enough "animal" or "jungle" type print. The material is silky in weight and texture, about the thickness of a nice scarf. It's slightly translucent, but because of the pattern, you can't actually see through it. It's nicely lightweight for summer wear, which worked well for me, since I lost my hair in the spring, though I think this cap would be fine for all but the coldest or wettest weather. It's extremely versatile to match up with different outfits. I've worn it with both solid colors and prints, and with both casual and more dressy outfits (for me that means nice tops and slacks, but it would be fine with dresses or skirts, I think). It can be worn with the little scalloped bit on the side, over the ear, or in the middle of the back, and I've been told it looks very cute. I've been complimented on it more than once, even by strangers! (As you know, close friends and family will say anything encouraging.) The cap fits snugly enough not to slip once you have it on; this is a very important feature if your head is completely bald, since that makes your head slippery. At the same time, the elastic section that keeps it snug is wide, maybe 3/4 inch, and flat, so there's no elastic cutting into you anywhere. I would highly recommend this cap in this pattern as a fun addition to any chemo patient's wardrobe, and definitely worth the price. My hair is growing back now, but I plan to keep the cap for "bad hair days."

Abby cap
These caps are pricey, however, they are beautiful. Please add more colors! I have all colors (plain) and wear them for dressy occasions. I was afraid the material content would be uncomfortable and make me sweat, but it’s VERY COMFORTABLE and when I do sweat, they dry out quickly. They are the nicest caps out there. I own about 100 various caps total, but these are my favorites!!!

great turban!!
so let me just put it out there, I have trichotillomania. for those who don't know, it means I pull my hair out. i know weird. Believe me, didn't chose this but i try to focus on recovery and having a sense of humor about it like the more i pull the more i look like my bald dad. Anyway, I only pull my head hair during high stress times. right now I am a stay at home mom of two girls ages 2 and 10 months so my stress is ridiculous thus i have a ginormous bald spot on top of my head. Therefore, having various head wraps, bandanas, hats and a wig or two is imperative not only for my self-esteem/hiding my baldness when going out in public but also to keep access to my hair to a minimum and reducing my pulling. bought two of these turbans from turban plus. this one and one in brown with gold flecks. I really like them. They are both light weight and stylish as a turban can be. they don't itch or make my head sweat which is a problem as itchy head is a trigger for me thus more pulling. only thing is they are a tad big for my miniscule head, however, the attatched elastic thing in the back can be doubled up like a pony tail holder around the fabric of the turban making it tighter. only reason i gave it 4 stars was due to the bunchinee in back from being big but doesn't look bad. does the trick and is cute/modern enough to wear out without hardly any quizzical/odd looks!

Received one in a lavender/lilac as a gift and liked the lightweight fabric of it so I bought this one! It looks great with jeans and many different colored tops. Unlike other hats I recently purchased, this one stays securely on my head without hurting the top of my ears after long use. The style is also subtle yet feminine, love the ease of not having to tie or fuss with a scarf and it fully covers my head so I don't have to worry about people seeing my naked scalp. Perfect for summer, nice and cool fabric. I haven't decided yet if I'll wear a wig when I return to wig after chemo, but the hat is so comfortable and stylish, I'd feel good about wearing it to work and the other colors are nice too.

It fit well and looked very nice with my dress
I purchased this Abbey Cap Women's Chemo Hat Beanie Scarf Turban to go with an outfit for a wedding I attended while undergoing final stages of chemotherapy. It fit well and looked very nice with my dress. I had some anxiety about attending the wedding in the condition I was in and this pretty chemo turban made me feel much more confident. The sequins gave just the right amount of classy bling without drawing attention away from the rest of you. The back ruffle also made my neck feel not so exposed and band around face fits snug so no worries about it slipping in front, ruining your pretty makeup or makeup staining the fabric. I survived cancer and have my long hair grown back, but I kept this cap because with the right outfit, it's cute even with hair tucked up and front pulled back a bit so bangs flow out to the side. If I ever have an unfortunate cancer recurrence, I will have this pretty head gear on hand. To those in the midst of chemo treatment, keep fighting!

I bought this product in 4 colours. The quality is fantastic , the fit is perfect and the look is fabulous. I’m currently going through chemotherapy and I feel so good wearing these compared to others that I bought. The little frill detail actually gives the feeling of having hair. Delivery has been quick and efficient
