Very good quality, simple to set up, worked straight out of the box. The app is easy to connect and use. Even works with android auto so I can see the state of the battery and solar on my dashboard display.

Victron equipment is pricey but based upon this piece of kit I purchased it is worth it. The install was simple and the data from the bluetooth is very valuable for monitoring the system. I really like it and would be going fully with this brand if it were not so much more expensive than others.

Worth the money - nice to use

I replaced a Chinese MPPT that had almost impossible to follow instructions with this Victron. ‘Chalk and cheese’! The victron works brilliantly and was so easy to set up.

Probably the best quality MPPT money can buy. I have the 100/30 set up in my campervan on a 140w solar panel and it’s keeps my 2 140ah leisure batteries charged whenever I’m away on a trip. It’s very easy to set up and it’s pretty much plug and play. The Bluetooth app interface is also easy to use and provides good information for your electrical set up. Size wise it’s a big heavy unit but that shows the quality of it if you ask me. The efficiency is excellent and it’s never skipped a beat in my 2 years of ownership.

Fitted this you do need 5amps of power before it starts charging you batteries, Ive had to put extra panels on my caravan roof so the batteries get some charge on cloudy days.

I bought the 30amp MPPT solar controller for my leisure battery. The old controller had stopped working. No need for an LCD display because there's a Victron Solar app available that connects via Bluetooth on your mobile device and solar controller. As soon as I connected it up, the leisure battery charge had increased from 2.6v to 5.8v in 30 minutes. I'm hoping it'll take it back up to a full charge without having to remove the battery and do a plug on charge at home using a 240v battery charger. The app is great. Plenty of live info to read and historical data can be accessed too. £159 to £111 on offer was a great deal. I was told to buy Victron and beware unknown names and brands. Just remember, if you're installing it yourself, use the correct electrical insulated screwdrivers because your solar panel cables will be LIVE! If you're not sure, get an electrician booked in to do the work.

I’ve been running a full Victron setup in my RV since 2021, including the MultiPlus inverter/charger, the SmartSolar 100/30 charge controller, the BMV-712 battery monitor, and the Digital MultiControl panel. After years of use across various climates and conditions, I can confidently say this system has been absolutely rock solid. Ich nutze den Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 in meinem 12 V-Solarsystem – und bin rundum begeistert. Das Gerät wirkt sehr hochwertig, ist sauber verarbeitet und lässt sich einfach anschließen. Die Bluetooth-Funktion ist ein echtes Highlight: Mit der kostenlosen VictronConnect-App sehe ich alle wichtigen Daten in Echtzeit (Spannung, Ladestrom, Batterie-Zustand etc.) und kann sogar Einstellungen anpassen. Die App läuft stabil und ist sehr benutzerfreundlich. Technisch ist der MPPT-Regler extrem effizient – auch bei bewölktem Himmel oder schwacher Sonne wird das Maximum aus den Solarpanels geholt. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass mein System deutlich schneller und besser lädt als vorher mit einem PWM-Regler. Die automatische 12/24V-Erkennung funktioniert einwandfrei, und auch unter höherer Belastung bleibt der Regler absolut stabil und zuverlässig. Fazit: Wer ein intelligentes, leistungsstarkes und langlebiges Ladegerät sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Top-Produkt – klare Kaufempfehlung!
