Finally was able to find a cable that works with this monitor and laptop! I have tried several and I mean nmore like 4 different cables and they all didn't work until this one popped up on a youtube video showing that it worked for the older 49 inch monitor and m2 pro. Decided to give it a try ad it works! No flickering and display runs at 240hz! Loving it so far! Highly recommend for people looking to connect their ultra wide to a mac!

I connected an ASUS Chromebox and a Dell 27" monitor and it was plug-and-play all the way. I sometimes had to disconnect the cable from the Chromebox to get a picture but I don't know if that is a cable problem versus the Chromebox or monitor.

Works as intended. Cord is really thick, this pup is not gonna wear out!

Tested both on Windows and MacOS: * With Windows 10 (Dell Precision 5560) I can get a max output resolution (5120x1440) at 240Hz. Which is very crisp and I have modified text scale to 125%. Now text, motion and everything else looks the best I have ever seen in a monitor. (This is my work-PC so I don't have pictures with me right now to upload...) * With macOS Sonoma at this moment (MacBook Pro 14" M1pro processor) I can get a max output of (5120x1440) at 120Hz WITH VRR activated AND HDR. However text doesn't look crisp as in Windows (Thanks Apple for their scaling strategy crap...), So I have to downgrade resolution to the nearest below HiDPi which is 3840x1080, but then it supports only 120HZ VRR and NO HDR. well... it is what it is. Still browsing the internet blogs and stuff to see if I can get 240HZ on this Macbook vita Thunderbolt 4. I am using this cable because it is better than the HDMI 2.0 port. Perhaps it works better on a MacBook Pro with M2/M3 family which have a HDMI 2.1. port. Not sure though, because it would be an expensive test just to risk having same results! Anyways, this cable seems to support it all for the monitor I have (Samsung Odyssey OLED 49" 5120x1440 at 240Hz VRR and HDR) it is just HW differences on the connected devices that enables or not resolutions and features. Hope this helps anybody out there looking for a good cable for their monitors. Cheers!

Il cavo acquistato in precedenza non funzionava con MacBook pro, questo invece funziona perfettamente trasmette sia video che audio. Consigliato.

Dieses Kabel dient dazu, mein MacBook Pro 2017 mit meinem neuen Monitor zu verbinden, um im Home Office mehr Platz zum Arbeiten zu bekommen. Mein Monitor ist ein 21:9 ultrawide Monitor mit einer Auflösung von 3440x1440 Pixeln bei 144Hz. Mit diesem Kabel kann ich bei 100Hz die volle Auflösung nutzen, die 44Hz, die noch fehlen liegen daran, dass der USB c Anschluss meines MacBook nur DP1.2 und nicht DP1.4 unterstützt. Das Kabel kam gut verpackt an, sieht robust aus und ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kabel, auch wenn es nicht das günstigste ist. Allerdings wollte ich sicherstellen, dass das Kabel alle Spezifikationen meines neuen Monitors unterstützt. This cable is used to connect my MacBook Pro 2017 to my new monitor to get more room to work in the home office. My monitor is a 21:9 ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440 pixels at 144Hz. With this cable I can use the full resolution at 100Hz, the 44Hz that are still missing are because the USB c port of my MacBook only supports DP1.2 and not DP1.4. The cable arrived well packed, looks robust and is very well made. All in all, I am very satisfied with this cable, even though it is not the cheapest one out there. But, I wanted to get sure that it covers all the specs of my new monitor.

Działa w trybie daisy-chain (2 monitory po 1 przewodzie). Sama jakość kabla wydaje się przeciętna, ale to w końcu tylko kabel.

--- ACTUALIZACIÓN DIC 2021 ---- Hace un tiempo, he empezado a percatarme que el cable no es del todo compatible con mi monitor. Tengo el monitor siguiente: Samsung LC49RG90SSRXEN. Un monitor de 49" y 5120x1440 de resolución a 120Hz Lo tengo conectado a un Mac Mini 2018 por Usb C (Thunderbolt 3) a Displayport Pues resulta que a veces mi mac mini no detectaba bien la pantalla (parpadeaba) y cuando ponía el monitor en modo PIP (tener la mitad de la pantalla para una entrada de video y la otra pantalla para otra entrada de video), el que estaba usando con el cable, empezaba a parpadear o salir un mensaje de "Buscando señal" aun pudiéndose ver perfectamente la imagen del escritorio. Al final, he probado con este otro cable https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B075V27G2R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 y ya no me da esos problemas de imagen. Por lo que, recomiendo coger el nuevo cable que recomiendo --- REVIEW ORIGINAL--- He tenido bastantes cables DP - USB C y este es el mejor de todos. - El cable es de nylon trenzado, haciéndolo más resistente y duradero - La calidad de los acabados es perfecta - Y lo más importante: el conector DP es más corto que la competencia, permitiendo conectarlo por detrás de los monitores fácilmente Os adjunto la tabla de compatibilidades del cable (ya a partir de ahí, tenéis que confirmar que vuestro monitor y PC sea compatible también con las velocidades y resoluciones deseadas) Sinceramente, lo recomiendo.
