Q: What's the difference between the T1 and T2 brace?

The T1 was our first brace, designed with two straps for a more customizable fit. Our next brace, the T2, was designed with one strap after consumer feedback determined that customers wanted a more convenient brace that's quicker to take on and off.

Q: are they for either foot or do you have to buy a right and left specifically?

They fit either foot. We do suggest if you are wearing one on each foot that you mark them and keep the same one on that specific foot as they do slightly mold to the ankle.

Q: can this be worn with an orthotic insert that I use for plantar fascitis?

The plastic bottom of your Active Ankle T2 can be slid underneath a plantar fasciitis insert or any other custom insert for a comfortable fit.
