Good but I can't get it to charge my phone

I just received my Solar Panel backpack and It's a really unsatisfactory product. I've been charging it for hours and it won't work.This is really unacceptable because I bought it with the intention to use it for my trip which I'll be backpacking it often and now I won't have a charge for my devices and it's going to make my experience less of ease.
