I placed this camera in a location at my home where it has a view of my back patio remodel, and it worked for months. I didn’t need to swap out any batteries in the middle of the project. The footage remained clear, even during the rain! I used the clamp mount that was included to mount it on a railing, and it held tight during the work. Transferring files was fast, and the time lapse is amazing to look at once done! Long battery life and consistent capture, I recommend this product.

I had initially wondered why this product was labeled as a “construction” time lapse camera. Upon receiving it, and getting it set up, it quickly became apparent. The small camera is encased in a very high-quality heavy duty weatherproof case. Great for any sort of construction site. It’s good for any outdoor project though! I was shocked to discover that I needed 36 AA batteries in order to get this system up and running. I also needed two microSD cards. The instruction manual states that two batteries are included with each camera as well as one micro card, but that is not the case, nor does it state that in the listing. I would think that for the price of these cameras, 2 simple SD cards could be included. The instructions state that these batteries are supposed to last for one year in the camera, but of course I won’t know that for a year. Other than that, this is overall a wonderful camera and not too difficult to use, with good instructions that walk you through everything. I would recommend this to a friend that could afford it!

Got these construction time lapse cameras for a major project build, and I have to say, it really exceeded my expectations! Setting it up was pretty straightforward; I didn’t have to be a tech whiz or anything. The video quality is fantastic, which really captured all the little details of the construction process. I loved watching the progression of the build day by day. It's like seeing a whole month’s work shrink into a couple of minutes. The time lapse feature works seamlessly, and the battery life was impressive, lasting through long workdays without needing a recharge. Downloading data was a snap. One thing I appreciated was its durability; it held up well against some less-than-ideal weather conditions. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking to document their construction project. It’s a fun way to capture the journey and see how everything evolves over time! Will probably use one of these cameras when my daughter does her art.

Out of the 800+ things I’ve reviewed as a Vine Voice (yeah, I know... that’s a lot), this might be the first time I actually did a happy dance opening the box. These Brinno cameras? Built like little tanks with lenses. The craftsmanship is top-tier, zero complaints. Proud to add these to the channel’s lineup of gear. If you’ve seen my videos, you know I live in the timelapse lane. Having two dedicated cameras just for season-long shots and construction projects means I can free up my other cams for walk-throughs, road trips, and general mischief. Haven’t mounted them yet, but the clamp system is beefy, like “farmyard light pole at 25 feet” kind of beefy. Can’t wait to put these into action.
