Damaged beyond use
Balance cock was disconnected and rattling around in the packet. Damaging the hairspring.I only wanted the movement for practicing servicing a movement. So not the end of the world, but considering the balance is the most important and delicate part its not great.Cannot be bothered to return.cannot recommend

Not as advertised ! AVOID !
Pictures are NOT of the movement supplied ! Cheap nasty movement with a really noisy tin rotor and the date wheel font is totally different. AVOID !

Definitely not the one shown in the pictures.. Date Wheel has plastic teeth which break off in 5 mins...picture shows more robust steel teeth.

Used, returned movement.
The movement I got was definitely a returned unit. By the time I got to realizing this, the return window had closed.So now I guess I have a parts movement.I ordered a real 8215 movement after this. Happy with that for an extra $25.
