Works with other 52mm filters also
I can attach Kodak 52mm CPL and UV filters with it. Thank God it is not yet another iPhone targeted product. I can easily use it with Samsung galaxies and other smartphones. Clip is tight. Variable ND filter can be rotated by keeping it attached with the mobile. 52mm diameter can easily cover the wide angle lens and mid the middle lens totally. This is a sturdy product and not plasticky. The quality of the carrying case is good. Price is on the higher side, but itcwill open the avenue of using filters with any smartphone camera.

Works well with iPhone 12 Pro Max
I do a lot of video work with an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I needed a neutral density filter to give the footage a cinematic quality. A neutral density helps with this by forcing the shutter speed to be slower and introducing a bit of blur. That helps simulate footage shot with a more expensive setup and make it film-like. I saw this as an inexpensive way to do it. It works as advertised. Three sets of test footage were shot from a moving vehicle over the same terrain: one without an ND filter, one with the filter in place on a "minimal" setting, and one with it set to 4 points below "Max" or just at the point below vignetting would occur. I found the latter setting to be pretty effective and it worked well. There was no problem using any of the iPhone's lenses, even the wide angle lens. Also, the lens doesn't interfere with the iPhone's built-in mic, which was something I was concerned about. I didn't see any damage to the iPhone screen, although I do have a screen protector on it. My only criticism is that the markings on the adjustment wheel settings are arbitrary so you really don't know what value you have the lens set to. Not sure if that's a big deal or not. Other than that, no problems at all.

Quick Fix
For price and functionality, this is quick fix for bus or car window glare but itโs not perfect. You have to work with the setting and sometimes change the angle and/or the distance between the phone camera and the window and unfortunately you still may not totally remove all the glare.

Get Creative with Your iPhone Photography
If you're looking to get creative with your iPhone photography, the 52mm Clip-on ND 2-400 Lens is definitely worth considering. The lens is well-made, and it comes with a nice case and a lanyard for easy carrying. One of the best things about this lens is the creative potential it offers. By simply rotating the lens, you can achieve a range of different effects, allowing you to take stunning photos with your iPhone. The only downside to this lens is the price - it's definitely on the expensive side. However, given the quality of the lens and the creative potential it offers, the price is still fair. Overall, if you're willing to invest in a high-quality lens for your iPhone, the 52mm Clip-on ND 2-400 Lens is a great choice. It's well-made, offers a range of creative possibilities, and comes with a convenient carrying case and lanyard. Highly recommended!

Doesn't work with iPhone
I got this in preparation for the eclipse of 2024. I got it last night and tried it today. The build quality and overall feel of this is very good. However, it doesn't work with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, most likely due to whatever polarization is on the phone itself. I only get the dreaded polarization cross, and even if I try to line everything up, I get an excessively bright magenta-colored blown-out sun. I wish it worked, because otherwise it looks like a pretty good attachment. I'll have to return it.
