Handy , light, good hand washing express machine
Living in tiny apartment where we have to use a communal washer,so I decided to buy this beauty and it works well after trying it out. So best way to use it wash then spin 3x more if your still not satisfied but I was with 3x. It spins beautifully but shakily so keep an eye on it. Better to use raised up on a counter to drain nicely into the sink . It washes quickly. It can handle a weeks worth of underwear, or a full tracksuit with 3 x underwear, or 4 small towels/2 big towels and 4 x underwear, or a thick onesie (trouble with spinning however) Iโve not tried bedsheets yet but I believe it will handle 2x double fitted sheets or one blanket (not duvet friendly) BUT it might struggle spinning the blanket. The washer is a very decent size but spinner is small . You can typically get 3x more in washer tho . It is kinda loud . The only down side is itโs not tough on stained items might need to hand wash stains out beforehand. Otherwise this is perfect Iโm glad I have this, no more using shared washing machine usage . So if ur living in a dorm/shared apartments/hostels this is perfect for you!! Buy it now while reduced like I did n spend the ยฃ15 on laundry liquid and youโre ready to go . You will save hundreds not going to the laundromat or having to sterilise the washing machine beforehand and risk loosing clothes from mischievous hostel clients. Plus itโs extremely quick and comes earlier than proposed date this machine is an all time winner. It uses less energy than typical washers too and extremely compact. DOESNT require too much space neither and extremely user friendly. The washing side is see through but thatโs perfect because you can tell if the waters clean or dirty so you know how many times to change water. If ur still not convinced YouTube it , but twin tubs are better than singles I can guarantee you plus singles rarely come this big anyway. This looks nicer and more professional and less like a bucket and more like a washer. For those that have never used semi automatic washers this is a breeze still gotta do stuff to make it work but they are very minor stuff (fill with water ,empty water) but with ยฃ100 you canโt get a fully automatic with that price brand new nor this small . The spinner is also amazing and leaves items very dry which is another amazing point with this machine. 10/10 for outstanding service

Brilliant little washer
This washer is unreal! It washed really well and the spin is great. I wrung my clothes out I got he washer then placed them on the spin to get the best result. Was a bit tricky to empty as the hose needs to be below the washer. But, if you place the washer on a stool itโll be easy to drain

There are better portable washing machines on the market
I have, over the past 5 years purchased 3 portable washing machines. Each one has lasted for approx 2-2.5 years before the spinner packs up. The other 2 machines I have purchased each received 5 stars but I have only given this one 3 stars as there are a few flaws. The description states ''Pumps away waste water from both washer and spin dryer'' There is NO pump. You will need to lift the machine off the floor to allow the water to drain. The length of the water pipe is ridiculously long and of course if you don't manage to get all the water out, then you are going to end up with water on the floor. The spinner capacity is considerably less than the washing machine capacity so I am not sure how it will cope with bed linen and large items. The spinner is not terribly efficient and while the other machines I have had spun the clothes dry, this one leaves them a bit damp. If you have not used a portable washing machine before, I don't suggest you follow the instruction manual with this machine. It makes little sense. Portable washing machines are great but I personally would not recommend or buy this one again. There are much better ones out there. Update: As expected, the spinner has finally packed up after 2 years of use.

Does everything it says it foes
Ilive on a narrow boat and i like everything about this product, it's light so easily moved around, the sides are translucent is you can see how much water you've put in, the gravity drain works well, the spinner is fantastic, and the electric cable is a good length. I use my shower head to fill, and drain into the shower tray, this is a well priced item and doesn't take up a lot of room, the spin drum is big enough to to take a king size douvet cover *** added bonus as I wasn't sure it would very happy with purchase

I LIKE IT BUT IT'S HARD IF YOU ARE USED TO USING AN AUTOMATIC MACHINE!
I bought this as a backup to my 14 year old automatic Hotpoint Tumble Wash Front Load Machine. This new "Twin Tub" washer is useful in the hot summer months when you change your clothes more often and you might want to use some things without waiting to build up a full 6 kg wash on the Hotpoint. The Twin Tub works well and is quite easy to use when you get the hang of it. It is a good washer and the spinner is good too. Both the washer and spinner are quiet unless the spinner is loaded unevenly. POINTS TO BEAR IN MIND: If you are used to using an automatic washer then you will feel like a slave using any twin tub unless you can get used to it. This is because when the wash cycle ends YOU have ti initiate EVERY function thereafter. There is no pump - it's gravity drainage. It's best to place the machine on a table about 45 centimetres off the ground otherwise you will not be able to drain it into a bucket. Other options are - place it on the kitchen sink - but that will be noisy and might be too high for you to load it. If you have a shower cubicle then that would be ideal for drainage and you could fill it from the shower head. I fill it with a bucket. The instructions are not that helpful. If you get a torch and shine inside the wash section, the white column is marked with L for low level water, M for medium and H for high which is 18 litres on this model. The instructions make no mention of these levels and if you don't use a torch you will not even see them! Mainly suitable for smaller items. Don't just weigh 3.6kg of clothes on scales & place in machine - you will overload it. You can wash say half that then do another wash in the same water - a manual machine at least offers that level of flexibility. My water supply is metered so I prefer to rinse in half a bucket of water in a bucket then spin for 2 minutes before next rinse - otherwise I'm using too much water! Wipe round & operate washer with a small amount of fresh clean water a couple of times after the wash otherwise the washing compartment will be dirty. CAUTION 1: When draining into a bucket make sure the hose is secured & does not break free - or you will have water all over the floor. CAUTION 2: When putting machine away, first put it on your kitchen sink & make sure it is completely drained or else - again you could easily end up with water all over the floor again. So to recap it's a good machine, nice & quiet, a good washer & spinner - but it's VERY different from an automatic! TIP: Don't drain the wash water until you have spun everything first because you might want to wash something else in that water before you decide you've finished!

Very very happy with it.
When my son was a baby I didn't want to wash his clothes in the main washing machine as we were living in a house that had a dog. This was an amazing help as I was worried at the time. The spinning is very good and the clothes weren't coming out wet. I am well impressed with the machine and still have it although I don't really use it that much! (Waiting for the second baby) I did and I always will recommend this as an alternative to using a main washing machine for the first year of a baby's life at least. It has a hose that you can connect to the tap.

Light and works!
This has been great for us. 8 people live in our house, including 6 children. Our washing machine broke so I got this until a new one arrived to keep me from having to trek to a laundrette. Loads are small but were clean. Spin cycle is fairly quiet as long as not off balance. I put it outside my kitchen and filled up with garden hose and put drain pipe directly into drain at the side of the house. Have done several loads a day for past three weeks. No problems.

Glorified bin that spins
absolutely terrible, water leaked out the drain pipe when not set to "drain". It couldn't wash a couple t shirts and some shorts without stopping due to the SMALL LOAD (really helps that the water flows into the drying cavity because 2 drain tunnels would be far too complicated. Enjoy messing around with a stool to put it on because the drain system is gravity assisted instead of pump. Think before you even condsider buying and remember there are a lot better things you could buy for ยฃ70
