KOBO ARC 7 HD 16GB

Got this as a replacement for my Kindle Paperwhite. I still have Kindle, but wanted something that will let me use other apps - like Scribd. I was assuming I will sell it or return if I won’t like it, but I was nicely surprised. It has great, clear screen, which is easy to look at. I like how crisp it is. It works quick enough for me, but I barely ever use Internet browser or FB on it. It has all apps I need and I’ve downloaded few more. It’s quite heavy, especially compared to Kindle, but feels good in hand and I like its rubbery back. It’s not slipping from hand while you keep it up. Only con is bit short battery life - it last 3-4 days if you read for few hours a day. In stand by mode it lasts longer. In general - I love it and I use it all the time.

Upgarded to this for my daughter after she snapped the charge port on her older model. First opened the boc and realised they already addressed the issue by moving the charge port to the side of unit. Picture quality is great although wifi performance lets it down when streaming HD video. Could of been my standard sky hub 2.0 (because we all know how notorious they are) but I would of expected this table to perform better as its younger sibling managed this well. Having said all that, the performance and power of this little unit is excellent for the money, really happy.

The mobo didn't work when I got it very disappointing sent back had refunded and went to curry's and bought one Not as good as Kindle but find I can get other books thati can't with Kindle.I would say if you were only have 1 e reader go fo a Kindle

Easy to use, ideal size to carry around.

I love mine, but anyone who wants it as an ereader to use outdoors should buy instead a 'real' ereader with the e-ink technology.

Bought this to update my Kobo Glo. Good as a tablet but rubbish as an e-reader. Very sensitive to the touch. Font kept changing for no reason. Have to actually select an aspect as this keeps alternating from landscape to portrait. My main beef with this product is that I take my e-reader on holiday but there is no way I could use it on the beach as the screen is far too reflective in the sun even under a parasol. The Kobo Glo has a matte screen which can be used on the beach and which I shall be reverting to for my next holiday and leaving the Kobo Arc at home!

I had a terrible experience with this purchase. The tablet simply has a serious defect. It just does not charge. Right from the start I could not make it work properly.

Did not work sent it back.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ben rifinito, semplice da usare e molto ricco di app utilissime. Consiglio a chi è un grande amatore di libri ed un amante della tecnologia. Un comodissimo Tablet ed un raffinati E-reader configurabile in base alle proprie esigenze. Fantastico!!! Che altro dire....Provatelo.

Cette Kobo arc 7 hd est un très bon produit pour le prix. Pratique et légère pour la lecture.Elle ne lit pas les clés usb avec un adaptateur usb, ce qui est décevant, car elle ne peut pas lire également les cartes sd. Sinon, il faut faire attention avec la batterie, il vaut mieux garder le produit en veille, au lieu et de le rallumer régulièrement, sinon la batterie se décharge rapidement à cause d'un démarrage gourmand en énergie

Puede que la tableta no se actual, pero su calidad de acabado y pantalla son excelentes. Una pantalla con la máxima resolución de 1920x1200 que reproduce videos a 1080p. La experience de lectura es notable por su contraste y 323 PPI. El procesador un Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core a 1,7 ghz hace que el funcionamiento sea fluido. Como pegas importantes: la falta de integración en su skin de los libros en pdf que necesitan de una aplicación externa y sobre todo, la imposibilidad de ampliación de sus 16 gigas de disco duro ya que no acepta tarjetas de memoria ni similares. Para la lectura y comics y revistas es excepcional.

Ich hab das Produkt gewählt, weil ich bereits einen Kobo Aura HD besitze und damit sehr zufrieden bin. Für meinen Neffen wollte ich was "jugend-gerechteres" und habe mich daher für den Kobo Arc 7 HD entschieden. Mein Neffe war sofort sehr begeistert. Für eine Vorab-Anfrage war der Kobo-Support sehr schnell unf kooperativ behilflich.

Muy buena tablet. Rapidísima y fluida. El único defecto que la veo es que no reconoce pendrive porque no tiene tecnología otg, pero por lo demás va como un rayo.
