A "must have" book
This book was first published, in the USA, in 1932, decades before the days of desktop PCs and sophisticated charting software. It remains a classic and many successful traders have benefitted greatly from reading it.For those who wish to really learn what chart pattern analysis is all about, then look no further than Schabacker's book. Once you grasp his concepts of trading, which are not complicated, you will be able to enter the markets with renewed confidence . Those ineffective, lagging technical indicators, that clutter up your charting screen at the moment, can be dispensed with. You will learn how to use price action, alone, just as the great traders of the past did,It is, in my opinion, one of the most valuable books that any aspiring trader/investor can have in their collection.

Anyone starting to learn Technical Analysis should have this book on shelf. Undoubtedly, some of the modern day patterns like Cup & Handle as well as momentum oscillators are not covered here (as they were discovered much later), but this does not take the sheen off. The chart patterns are explained so thoroughly that one could easily spot them in a live chart. Highly recommended!
