Clausen Z-Chrome RUST DEFENDER Hi-Build Polyester Primer, 1 Gallon

I use many different polyester primers. This one is more than double the cost, but worth every penny when doing a very high end refinish project. It’s surprisingly thin and transparent on first coat, but if you follow the manufacturer instructions, you will get fantastic results.

This primer is the best for sealing a car. Its thick and it builds and fills as you block it. It will not shrink over time. like other primers. I use 2 gallons on each classic car I paint.

First it's extremely overpriced. Second the film build is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and buy some ever coat 4:1 or ever coat dtm smooth. They are both half the price , do the exact same thing being a barrier coat and build way better. . Just my opinion

blocks like a champ. The results on fiberglass were off the chain at 80+% solids it is tuff to mix with out a paint shaker

Expensive, never received it as of yet. Tracking info useless not updated. Recent response " wait till next week". At this point I would settle for a refund

Ive used clausen primer for years no shrinkage fills and blocks better than anything i have ever used i painted my friends car over ten years ago and used this primer it looks like it was painted last week

Product is great supplier was the prolbem
