First of all, there are no instructions but that's OK as you just need to go to the KAMsnaps website.With this kit, you have to change both the cap and the shank ready fitted in the pliers to fit the snaps supplied. Given that the latter are presumably the most popular size snap, why don't the pliers come ready fitted with the matching bits? But simple enough to change once you've figured this out.The instructions show an awl but this doesn't come with this kit - so by this stage I was a bit puzzled, but on pillowcase fabric, the pointy bit poked through the fabric OK. But the main reason I deducted a star was that you need to very careful you don't squeeze too hard, especially when doing the male side as this compresses and therefore flattens the nib too wide to fit into the female side.For each snap, you use two caps, a female part and a male part - so four pieces. These come in separate bags - two small bags each with the female and male within a larger bag containing the caps - so easy enough to figure out.Once I'd managed all this though, seemed to work fine :)

Great product despite the lack of instructions. I had been looking for something to replace broken poppers on duvet covers and it fits the bill. Does need to be used carefully as the poppers can distort easily. The T3 snaps supplied were exactly the same size as those on my chain store duvet cover. Sure there must be other crafting applications but this did exactly what I wanted it to do.

Does the job nicely. I bought thr wrong size snaps, the size 16 are suitable for dolls clothes not nappies which require a size 20 popper. I found this information on the kam snap website not in the Amazon product information. Not 5 star because its tricky to get placement right and sometimes I have needed to remove and try again. I suspect a press would resolve this issue, but the plyers fitted my budget better and I have the hang of it now.

It seems to be easy enough to use. The snap fasteners supplied don’t seem to stay fastened. Perhaps I need more practice. Or perhaps I should buy better quality snaps?

No instructions so had to search on youtube for a video. Good product but you waste lots of poppers

Very good piece of kit when the poppers on your duvet don't pop any more this is the tool for the job10/10

This is so easy to use, you just can't do it wrong. It all fits together and snaps when done, its great, took me only a few minutes to fasten them to my quilt. Highly recommended

If this had come with instructions it would have had five stars. Had to look on You Tube to see how to use it and change the parts. If only using it on thin fabrics it does the job well. If you have a dexterity problem it could be difficult.
