They Work Great for me.
I am completely satisfied with these and so far they are working perfectly. Came in a useful plastic case. Use with cord or a shoe lace works great as well. When depressed slide easily to tighten or loosen. No complaints and no idea how long they will last but will likely purchase again when needed. Will update at a later date if there is any issue with them.

I use mine for my hats.
I am sure these can be used for packs and all kinds of bags, but i want them to keep the strap on my hats snug. I have several, stetson, aussie, and cowboy hats and they usually come with a wooden bead or just a know in the leather strap. Those are useless. I get these slides - they are a little tight to get the straps thru the hole, but once in place they are perfect. The slide up and down easily, making sure you hat stays on your head. And with some of the coastal storms we get in southern Louisiana, that it doing a good thing.
