Great wax
Great wax Normally I use Collinite 476, however, fancied trying this with a machine polisher. Do recommend warming this up prior to using it so that It can be shook up a bit and re mixed. Went on really easily probably used too much of the stuff though. Buffed off remarkedly easy compared to 476 does. Let's see how long it lasts before it needs reapplying. Only thing I would like to see improved is a different lid so you can apply blobs without having to remove the whole lid edit* As a heads up I have now got a pull up hand soap lid which fits perfectly allowing you to spot it easier Also I did this on a cold day with no issues, so don't let the UK autumnal weather stop you.. Main issue is good prep before applying is a must I polished with Autoglym super resin before hand and buffed off Update. Been a week or so now and still beads incredibly well, water blows off easily when driving the car.

The very best car wax you can get !!!
This is by far the very best wax that I have come across in the last 20 years. This has left my cars looking the very best that they can look. The water simply beads off the cars. The amount of protection that this gives more than makes up for the cost of the product. A truly wonder product. First and foremost you must do this on a warm (certainly not a cold|) day. The bodywork must NOT be cold. Make sure that the Collinite is warm as well. Hold the bottle of wax on your hands and roll it between your hands to make sure that it is warm. Shake the bottle vigorously to mix all the wax into the fluid.Open the bottle and if you see any wax around the top of the bottle, close the bottle and shake until it has been mixed into the fluid. Once you are happy that the wax has been mixed fully into the fluid, then pour a SMALL amount onto a microfibre cloth. Gently rub this onto the paintwork. I use a clockwise then anti clockwise motion. Cover one panel at a time. When the Collinite starts to go hazy then use a microfibre cloth to polish the panel. Then I use a completely clean microfibre to give it a final polish. You only need a small amount of Collinite at a time. If you want then repeat the process and give the car two coats or more. I keep a small micro fibre cloth only for the Collinite, this has become impregnated with the Collinite and so I use even less now. After applying a few times the Collinite builds up on the car. Cleaning becomes easier as the dirt simply hoses off. now I simply hose the car, dry it and put Collinite on a few panels. Then the next time it put it onto some off the other panels. It is so much quicker and easier to clean the cars now. Over a period of time the panel get more and more protection and the look gets better and better. As I have said before for the best results use on a warm day and make sure the Collinite is warm as well, and shake the Collinite well to mix in the wax. Do this and you will impress your self with the results. I hope this helps with your choice.

One of the very best liquid waxes on the market.
I love this wax for ease of use, the quality and finished product. It doesn't take long for me to go over the whole of my car as it goes on very thin to achieve excellent results. Watched plenty of YouTube videos on this 845 and was impressed enough to try this as my main liquid wax. It will last a long time as you don't need to use much per panel as applying too much just means you are wasting it and making it harder for yourself to buff off. As an update, after layering this wax I have seen a massive improvement in the depth of shine on the paintwork and the clarity is fantastic as you can see from the photos. This is a dream to work with as it glides across the paintwork with ease as you only need a thin layer on each panel to achieve excellent results. It's also very easy to buff off as long as you stick to the system of thin layers! I've used this on everything all over the car with it all ending up shining like new, well, very close! I won't change from this wax now as it is absolutely superb.

Collinite 845 wax. Good product
I have just run out of this, 18 months after purchase. It is very good, easy to apply and buff off and gives a good shine. I'm not sure the effect lasts as long as it should but as you don't use much each time, I guess it's cost effective as you can get many waxes out of one bottle. I have just bought some Autosmart Carnauba Gold wax instead (third of the price) which is good. Harder to apply and get off but leaves a great shine. I will probably buy more Collinite 845 because it is so easy to use. It all depends on how long the new stuff stays on for and continues to 'bead' as I'm not concerned that it's harder to use. If I don't have a lot of time, I'll use Collinite. If I do, I'll use the Autosmart Carnauba Gold. Simple. Some reviewers say they will never use anything else again, but I think it's good to try different products as modern waxes are fabulous and getting better all the time, and different products have different qualities and uses.

Simply awesome! Never thought wax could be an exciting subject until now
Fantastic product. It's incredible that it has been going for so long and it wasn't until recently that I found out about it. It made my silver SUV shine as it was covered in glass. Superb finish, super easy to apply by hand and buff off, in this case I use Ryobi's orbital wireless buffer, another fantastic buy. I first polished the car with Autoglym Super Resin polish then applied Collinite. I left the bottle submerged in warm water whilst I did the polishing. The wax comes out easily and it was like applying a coat of oily wax on the car. It can go on any exterior surface. Leave to dry for a few minutes and buff it off. The depth of shine is unparalleled. I'm definitely sticking to it from now on and hope this will give enough protection for 3-4 months until it needs a second coat and I think I can then keep the polishing to once or twice a year maximum. Consider buying the Dustbuster Wheel Wax and sealant, it's another great product.

While it might not be the most expensive (nor the cheapest) wax money can buy, it possesses a HUGE bang for the buck. At room temperature, it is kind of like a soft paste - not a liquid, not quite a paste. It obviously changes consistency with temperature. Making sure it is shaken up well is important, as there are more than one chemical at work here. In order to do this, you need to run the bottle under warm/hot water for a little while, to turn the paste into a liquid, and then shake it to get that smooth, thick, liquid consistency we're looking for. Once you get to that point, use it sparingly - I recommend dedicating this wax to a single applicator. I prefer the microfiber applicators from Chemical Guys over the foam applicators you can purchase. This stuff lasts a long time, so if it can lasts months on your car in the elements in a micro thin film, think about how long it's going to last on your applicator pad! It has a pleasant chemical waxxy-like smell. No frills here, it smells exactly like what it is. Hardcore wax. Whatever it is you're waxing, be sure to use a clay bar to ensure a proper, smooth, decontaminated surface. This stuff wipes on super, super smooth, almost like spreading vaseline. It's wonderful to work with, and spreads easily. This means that less is more - I figure since I did a full size car, including wheels, and glass, and yet the bottle looks as if it hasn't even been opened yet, this stuff will last at least 50 full size rigs before you need to worry about purchasing more. And that, is something I like! The nice thing about this is that it isn't one of these off-the-shelf products you can find at <insert superstore/auto parts store here>. If they did, it'd all fly off the shelves and it would be MONTHS before people came back for more. It lasts a long time on the vehicle, so long as the paint is in good shape before you apply it. The cleaner, smoother the paint - the better, longer lasting the shine will be. People rave about this everywhere you go, automotive wise. It's especially popular in fall and winter, because it compliments the rainy season well. It beads water like there's no tomorrow just by itself. And since it isn't one of those products that last about a week until the next wash, it'll keep protecting your paint through the entire season. Spring time will be pretty much pure awesomesauce when you go to give your car that detail you look forward to, and your time is cut in half during the wash process because it'll probably still be working great. Do yourself a favor and learn how to properly wax your car. If you're a nut that just loads the wax on until your car looks like the lady friend coming out of the day spa waring a mud mask? You need a little help. Wax should go on super thin. Using more product than is necessary is simply a waste of product. You should only see a thin, light haze once the product starts to dry. Use little to no pressure when applying, just enough to spread it out over the paint. Work in circles to ensure a good, even coat. Give it 15-20 minutes for the product to 'soak in' and bond with the paint, and dry - it's easier to remove this way, and yields the best result. Some people like to call it quits after you remove the wax, but to really give your paint that 'pop' most people look for (especially pearls & metallic paints), use either a quick detail spray such as Chemical Guys P40 or V07 as a follow up after removing your wax. This not only gives a bit more shine, it also adds another layer of protection that will lengthen the life span of your finish. I would recommend Collinite to anybody looking for a durable, high endurance wax that is easy to apply and practically fool-proof. It is maybe a 7/10 in the 'shine' department, so if you're looking for a top of the line shine, expect to pay top of the line money. But by all means put it over the 845 so when the super spendy stuff wears off, you still have the long lasting protection from Collinite. 5 out of 5 stars because it's awesome, and everybody loves it - especially myself, since I'm the one that actually uses it. No instruction manual or Master's degree required. Enjoy!

Brilliant product. I had tried autogylm, meguiars. However this was the easiest to apply and got a mirror like finish. Tip. Pre Soak the bottle in hot water and shake well.

Einfach genial.
