This cable is amazing! I bought it to connect my Android phone to my cars OBD2 port to use BimmerLink and it literally is plug and play, no software to download and my phone immediately recognized the cable upon plugging it in (using a USB-C to UBS-A adapter) with a prompt and better yet after connecting it the OBD2 port on my MINI R60 N18 it connected to BimmerLink the first try!!! I had bought another cable which didn't work at all so that's why I'm thrilled to have found this one. By the way, this cable is NOT the cable linked on BimmerLink's site. The linked cable for my specific car was NOT the correct cable, it had no switch and in the description said it only worked on models up to 2008 so I bailed on that cable and risked buying this Autogeek branded cable because it had a switch and gave specific instructions in its description for cars 03/07 to 2016 the switch should be switched to the right which I what I did and is what worked. Perfeito. Identificou TODOS os modulos que estao instalados, ja me ajudou a diagnosticar falhas e fazer testes. Tenho outros cabos do BMW, inclusive seriais, e posso dizer que este foi super bem.

This one is junk. It doesn't connect to anything. No connection on German, Japanese, or american cars in any setting.
