Amazing Mini Helicopter โ Perfect for All Ages!
Iโm absolutely thrilled with the POCO DIVO S107G Phantom 3CH Infrared RC Helicopter! This little gem exceeded all my expectations and provided hours of entertainment. Hereโs why itโs deserving of five stars: Pros: Incredible Stability: The built-in gyro works wonders, making this helicopter incredibly stable in flight. Whether youโre a newbie or have some flying experience, itโs easy to control and hover precisely. User-Friendly Controls: The infrared remote is intuitive and responsive. Even my young kids picked it up quickly, and itโs a joy to fly around the house. The controls are smooth and make for an enjoyable flying experience. Fun LED Lights: The built-in lights are a fantastic touch! They add an extra layer of fun, especially when flying in dimly lit rooms. Itโs like a mini light show in the sky! Durable Design: Despite some inevitable crashes, the helicopter has proven to be quite robust. Itโs survived numerous bumps and still flies like new. The quality of the materials is impressive for its price point. Cons: None to Speak Of: Honestly, I havenโt encountered any significant downsides. The flight time and recharge time are typical for this type of mini helicopter, but the fun it provides far outweighs these minor points. Overall: The POCO DIVO S107G is an absolute winner in my book. Itโs perfect for both kids and adults who are looking for an easy-to-fly, entertaining RC helicopter. The combination of stability, ease of use, and fun features like the LED lights make it a standout product. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great indoor flying experience!

NO STRAFE; Too good to be true at this price, because it isn't
I've flown plenty of RC helicopters, some better, some worse. Even the cheapest I've flown had up/down, forward/back, rotate R/L, and strafe R/L. It's so ingrained that I didn't even notice this is advertised as not having strafe. I've seen drones that have an option to simplify flying for beginners by removing the ROTATION, which kind of makes sense. Not having strafe makes this sooo much harder to fly. The helicopter itself seems pretty sturdy in comparison to other light RCs, and actually feels stronger than my main flyer right now. Gyros work well, which is good because there is barely any adjustment for trim. Being able to charge off the remote is a great idea- to an extent. The remote feels very cheap, which isn't surprising at this price. It takes 6 (!) AA batteries, has fake shoulder buttons, and a single rotation trim knob. It isn't very responsive, I try to lower the hovering height a few inches and it drops to the floor. I try to take off and hover at a few inches, and it jumps up to 4 feet. Sometimes squirrelly controls are because it's an acrobatic helo, but this ain't that. It's a cheap controller paired with a cheap ESC, in a capable (by comparison) body. Honestly, if you're looking to get into flying, save up and go a little better. Don't get something that'll just get boring or frustrating after a few minutes.

Not very manuverable and short batter life
The helicopter is pretty well made, but its hard to control and maneuver. It mostly just flies up and down with very forward/backward or left/right control. Doesn't work well outside when the sun is shining, so that limits mostly to indoor flying, but given the little control you have its constantly running into walls and furniture. Its just not very entertaining. Also, the instructions are not well written.

Fun, durable helicopter with "NORMAL" use.
My 10 year old son gives the POCO DIVO helicopter 4/5 stars. When asked why? He said, "Because it's fun!" He took one star off for its short battery life. Between flying, crashing, setting right side up, etc,, he gets about 10 mins of play time. Of which maybe 6 mins is actual flight time. Then it's back on the charger it goes for 40 mins. I've noticed it's pretty durable. It will survive impacts to the couch and table, and short crashes to the hardwood floor. No outdoor play. This is an indoor helicopter. So you'll need a pretty big room clear of obstructions for it to fly well. Not a problem for us. I don't like the plastic proprietary charge plug on the charging cable. Why not a micro usb port on there instead of the tiny square plastic bit. I can totally see this tiny plastic plug getting damaged with a careless yank and, goodbye helicopter. Remote needs SIX AA batteries. Wait, what?? SIX AA batteries. Ok fine. That's a minor nitpick. Speaking of the remote. It's plasticky and janky. It works. But you can tell it was repurposed from another toy and used for this copter. Again, small nitpick. In the instructions it says to "Set the Band Selector on the Transmitter and Helicopter to the same frequency." There's an A/B toggle switch on the remote. But there's no switch on the copter itself. Uhh.. ok. Not an issue with me since we only have the one copter. But the overall janky weirdness is adding up. The copter goes up/down, turn left/right, forward/back. It does not go side to side. Another nitpick for copters at this price point. For what it's worth, a remote helicopter that currently (May 2024) costs $25, this toy, as my son says, "Is fun!" Keep your expectations low. Charge it up. And spend some time with your kid.

Not a stunt flyer, but is pretty non-destructive for indoor settings (at least mine)
To be fair, this is not a stunt flyer. I've dabbled in single rotor RC helicopters a while ago. Since, I switched to the ease of drones, I've neglected that skillset, but it's nice to get the RC feelings again with this small RC helicopter. It's simple to fly once you get the hang of the throttle. The dual rotor counterrotating configuration keeps it fairly straight and stable. There is adjustment to fine tune the trim with a dial on the remote. The tail rotor is there to propel the helicopter for and aft. There is a fixed battery on the RC helicopter that is charged by way of USB cable. The remote, unfortunately, uses 6 AA batteries. Airframe feels rather sturdy with many aluminum parts. I've crashed it many times getting used to the throttle (which is touchy at first, but it has faired well. It's a little more complicated than using a drone (drones have a lot of stabilizations built in), but it's not as bad as an RC helicopter stunt flyer. I like buzzing people that invade my office area (don't aim for them out of safety, though). It's a fun little flyer.

Indoor only helicopter.
The POCO DIVO S107G Phantom 3CH Infrared RC Helicopter flies well. It is pretty slow and has no speed increase options. A lot of the helicopters I have flown have a speed selection, but this one is lacking that. It is a beginner helicopter as it moves slow and is easy to fly. For the current asking price under $25 this I feel this is a great value. With it being an infrared remote control this will not work well outside. This helicopter is made by Syma.
