Great marine product
Great marne product for feeding your corals and maintaining proper levels in your tank. Takes a little time for adjustment as does all things in the reef but once stable it is a breeze to work with.

Must have for reefing.
AFR is by far the single best product for keeping your coral healthy and growing. When I started using it, I used the premixed liquid kind, which is great, albeit expensive. I changed to the powdered kind I mix myself and am just as happy with the results, while saving money. I’ve seen some people use blender bottles or something similar, but I recommend getting yourself a magnetic mixer and a large flask of some kind with a lid and measuring marks printed on it. It just seems to mix better that way, and also you get to play mad scientist in your house. I like both.

Perfect reef supplement
This is Tropic Marin… the price tag is slightly higher than other reef supplements but it is worth it. It dissolves easily with RODI water with having a larger tank it is nice to be able to make a large batch once a month reducing maintenance time. The only thing I wish was better is that the dilution instructions were on the container and I did not need to go to the website for them. But this is a small nitpick.

Works great to maintain parameters/trace element levels in your saltwater reef tank
I began using this about two years ago with a dosing pump. I bought a 7 stage RODI set up from BRS and use that water to mix with this AFR powder using a digital scale. I mix up a 1 liter bottle that lasts me a little over a month dosing 30ml a day. After you figure out how much to dose each day (based on your tanks/coral usage, which took me about 6 months for me to get dialed in, it's super easy. I found out that a little too much, is better than not enough, and everything stabled out at that point. It has done an excellent job keeping all of my levels stable for the last year+, with little effort on my part. I only check with my hanna checkers (pH, Calcium, Alkalinity, Magnesium, Nitrate, Phosphate) about once every 4-6 weeks nowadays as I can see all of the mixed reef corals in my tank are happy and growing like crazy. Even my rose Bubble tip anemone keeps splitting and I have had to trade in 5 of them. Now I have a 6th that I am letting get a bit bigger before taking to the LFS for store credit. (This 70 gal mixed reef has been set up for 10 years now.)
