Almost Perfect
I just got this today! My old Label Manager 160 got stuck in a factory reset loop — long story — so I decided to just replace it with this bluetooth connected label printer. I downloaded the app for my Smartphone and now all the designing and building labels can be done right on my phone — so it’s portable like the battery operated label printer. That means I can use it out in my back yard shop which has limited power. The printer itself was plug and play once I turned the bluetooth “on” for my printer to use. No deep dives into menus—it just prompts you right in the app when you first set it up. Even a boomer can use it! Then I selected the type of label I wanted to use — it comes with 3 rolls one white plastic, one clear plastic, and one white paper. They are 1/2” rolls but you can control the font size and type. There are templates included which you can modify or use — as is. I needed to make labels for my plastic parts organizers so I opted for smaller fonts. Yes there is one problem that I would like those problem solvers at Dymo to look into. While all the video reviews have rosy things to say bout “hiw easy it is” to take the backing off the adhesive, I have big fingers and that is NOT easy. I know it IS easier than the old Dymo embossing tape machines from the 60s —these do have a split in the backing that allows you to bend the label laterally and the backer strips are supposed to pop up. They do— marginally — if you have small fingers this works well. I spend more time fighting with the backin than anything else! But then all labelers suffer from this defect. But hey, it makes great custom labels.

Well Worth The Price - See My Battery Scenario
This Dymo LetraTag 200B is an exceptional piece of computer equipment. The label quality is outstanding, effortless to read, and not distorted in any way; it is well worth the price. Its high quality reassures me that I made a good investment. I want to share a scenario with anyone considering the purchase of this machine. And while the scenario itself impacts the printer's performance, it is by no means the printer's fault. I purchased Amazon's rechargeable batteries, and while they worked great at first, for some reason, they failed with this printer. They charge ok. However, I noticed when installing them into the printer I would almost have to force, not excessively, the printer lid to close. All signs point to the printer being the cause of the issue. I promptly complained about this issue and was issued a new machine. When installing these same Amazon batteries in the new machine, the problem persisted. I then purchased new AA Energizer batteries, which are known for their compatibility with a wide range of devices, and Et voilà. The printer has been working and humming right along ever since. The moral of the story is that there are no more Amazon Batteries in my Dymo LetraTag 200B label-making printer. But with the right batteries, this label maker is a reliable and efficient tool.

Good label maker, bad app and troubleshooting experience.
Out of the box, I was convinced my unit was defective and would need to be returned or exchanged. The app kept showing a message saying "printing error, unit jammed" every time I tried to print something. I even tested all three included label tapes, but the same error occurred each time. After opening the device and inspecting it, I found absolutely nothing wrong. Eventually, I came across a Dymo support article that explained some troubleshooting steps, which really should have been included in the manual but were not. One of the steps was to hold the power button to print the MAC address. I tried that several times, and it just kept beeping without printing anything. Then, one time, it suddenly printed the MAC address, and it has worked perfectly ever since. I have been able to print from the app without any issues. The app itself is another weak point. It looks outdated and poorly designed, with very limited options for fonts, emojis, borders, and other formatting. For a Bluetooth-connected device, you would expect more customization options, but it is about as basic as a traditional manual label maker. That said, once it is working, the unit is very easy to use. You do not even have to pair it manually over Bluetooth. The app will automatically detect the device as long as it is powered on and nearby. For basic labeling needs, it is great and much faster than typing on a manual label maker.

Love it
Works great! Set up was easy. I like the plastic labels better than the one it came with nice clear prints

Magical Bluetooth Label Printer
I replaced my Dymo LetraTag 100H which suddenly died with this Bluetooth DYMO 200B label printer. I LOVE IT! Setup was super easy. Download the free app, type in your label on your smartphone, press Print, and like magic your label comes out of this device. And you don't have to type on the device with the letters in alphabetical order instead of the QWERTY layout. Highly recommend! Good price too!

Terrible Label Text Quality.
It's really amazing how this device fails. The characters on all font sizes on all fonts are stretched. While this may waste labels, the real problem is that the labels too long and ugly...even before considering the pixelation. I had thought being device based it would have more options than the old handheld. It has roughly the same options but does them worse. If you get the old LetraTag you have their terrible keyboard, but the labels look much better. I've tried three devices, two Android and one iOS, it comes out the same. And while we're at it, it's just a tad slow. It's all so much worse than any generation of the Brother P-touch and worse than the LetraTag if you just want to use your old label tape. It doesn't matter that it's cheap - it does not produce labels I want to use.

Good value for the price
Great label maker for home use, I like the phone app and you can spell check your labels before you print. I think it is a great option for occasional label needs
