Reliable, Versatile, and Compact — A Great Ladder for Home and Work
I’ve been using the Soctone 16.5 Ft Telescoping Ladder for a couple months now, and it’s proven to be a smart addition to my home improvement/maintenance "tools". Whether I’m cleaning gutters or accessing hard-to-reach shelves in the garage, this ladder gets the job done efficiently. Pros: • Compact & Portable: Folds down small enough to store easily in a closet or vehicle trunk. • Dual Functionality: A-frame and extension modes offer great flexibility for various tasks. • Sturdy Build: The aluminum construction feels solid and safe, even when fully extended. • Easy to Use: Smooth telescoping mechanism with clear height locks ensures hassle-free setup and takedown. • Non-Slip Feet: Grips well on most surfaces, giving added confidence during use. Cons: • Slight Flex at Full Extension: Not dangerous, but noticeable when climbing higher rungs. • A Bit Heavier Than Expected ( Still Not TOO Bad Though): Portability is great, but carrying it long distances can be a bit tiring. Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed ladder that strikes a great balance between versatility and compactness. Ideal for DIYers, homeowners, and light professionals.

The 12.5' Soctone ladder is a good buy.
The 12.5' Soctone telescoping ladder works well. It is not a light weight thing, but is not very heavy for a ladder and is easy to carry. It extends and retracts well. It can be extended so the un-extended rungs are at the top or near the bottom by starting to extend the rungs from the bottom or from the top. If you start extending the rungs from the top, you have to extend the ladder all the way up for it to stay up. If you start extending the ladder from the bottom, the ladder can be extended part of the way up leaving the un-extended rungs at the top. This is not a problem, just something to know. It is sturdy but does have a little flex. It feels safe and works well. I am glad I bought it.

Quality build, compact and easy to use
So far so good! This looks and feels like it should be more expensive! Works exactly as described, folds up to an easy to manage size, just be aware it’s heavier than it looks. Great for storage and small jobs around the house. Obviously it’s designed for specific projects and certainly won’t work for every job but so far it’s done the trick. Silly, but I really like the telescoping feature, it’s very satisfying 🙂

Good ladder
I have a foldable ladder that is bulky and clunky to unfold. Because it folds it sometimes opens up when I try to flip it over to get it into the car. This ladder collapses making it easier to get it in and out of the car. You do need to pay attention to the instructions on using it partially extended otherwise it will collapse back down. One other thing is that moving it while partially extended, you need to grab it on both sides under the lowest rung below the non-extended rungs otherwise it will extend more. I did find it to be quite sturdy while I was working on it on not so level ground. It is a little heavier than the folding ladder which a handle strap would probably help.
