I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews. However satisfied now and have bought a second piece. The item fits like a sock. It does hinder the movement of the mouse click but the click is still very positive. Finger movements are not obstructed. The dimples on the side give a good feeling of a grip. One more positive is ---no chance of dust getting in between the top and the base.
