Mans best friend!
This product arrived within the time frame specified in the delivery details. It arrived in the typical Amazon cardboard envelope style packaging as it is a slim product. This style of packaging is ideal as it is very easy to open and doesn't require scissors. The product and packaging arrived in excellent condition. With regards to the packaging of the product itself, it is encased in a clear plastic casing, which surprisingly is VERY easy to open. It does not use the old style plastic packaging which is a nightmare to get into but instead, an easy open box style packaging whereby the front simply pops open and is easily revealed and reused. As a whole the packaging is aesthetically pleasing, it has an image of a size relevant dog on the casing and clearly shows how to fit the halti. In addition, enclosed is a small booklet with fitting instructions and tips and tricks for training your dog as this is the purpose of the product. The product itself is black in colour so gender neutral and its strong. It is clearly of excellent quality and manufactured well, very durable and easy to use. The stamps to fasten around the neck of your dog have the ability to be made slightly smaller or bigger should you require it but you should also ensure you buy a size specific one for your dog as the nose band does not. The nose band can be made tighter as it has a small buckle underneath but this would not compensate for ordering an unsuitable size. This product is, as mentioned incredibly easy to fit and works wonders for dogs in training and or those who like to pull. Our dog HATES her halti because she knows she cannot pull us, funnily enough we LOVE the product. It does not harm the dog nor is it uncomfortable for the dog, quite simply it does the exact job it promises and eases the pulling. We have used this product for a few weeks now, and saw effects immediately and are continuing to see improvements. Based on this I am more than happy to award this product 5 stars!!! Excellent value for money!

If your dogs accepts it well it is a miracle product!
My dog is 7 years old, 20 kg and since she was a pup it was impossible for me to teach her to walk properly. She would get extremely excited when outside the home and no treat would make her stop pulling. I had to put her on a choker because she would get out of the harness/collar and/or knock me over. I nearly lost her once. My partner was the only person that could take her on a walk, she was much stronger than me and I always felt very sad because I am a very active person and I couldn't take her with me running, swimming, trekking etc. She would also lunge at any other animal and attack. I got this collar without any expectation that it would make a difference. I was almost sure she would get out of it in seconds. First time we walked in the house, then in our yard, then outside for a small walk, for her to get used to it. Then I took her out for our normal route. Unbelievable results!! It is the first time in 7 years that I took my dog out without assistance and without stressing out! She took to it very well. She will paw at it a little in the first few steps but then she doesn't really care. Another dog came towards us and she didn't lunge or bark or go insane! I feel like we can do so many more things together in the future. This is not an expensive product and if you have the same issues as I did you need to try it out, even if it fails, it's worth it. If your dog isn't "difficult" and stubborn they will, with some training, get used to it. Don't just put it on and go out - you need to make the dog get used to it first in a controlled environment and after a few successful attempts you can try it outside. I don't have it for a long time but from the reviews it seems like it's durability isn't very long. If it does break down I will buy a new one for sure. It has taken away all the stress and sadness of not being able to have fun with my dog. One note I will make is that when she pulls, it goes close to her eye, not in it but close and I feel like it could be a bit uncomfortable for her. But after a few walks she got the drill and stopped pulling on it. She also understood that when she is not pulling she can open her mouth, pant happily and go on a normal walk like all other doggies. I urge you to give this a chance if you are experiencing the same issues. It will change your relationship with your dog for ever.

Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve raised a lot of dogs from my own to rescues, foster dogs with baggage to therapy dogs. My standard poodle is super affectionate and a favorite at doggie daycare, with people and in general. However since the day I rescued him at 4 months old he’s always been reactive on the lead but I lived in the country then on 6 acres and it wasn’t an issue until my recent move to the suburbs. He has a high prey drive, reactive to the delivery trucks, people of different colors, other dogs and wheelchairs only when on a leash. I can’t take him anywhere because of it. He’s constantly pulling his 70lbs no matter what on a lead. I hated walking him and was so embarrassed. Walking my dog is something I enjoy but with him it’s been super stressful. I can barely hold him when he goes off. I’ve tried walking him at times when nobody is outside to more secluded areas, wearing a pinch collar, a bark collar, a choke collar, and a collar that goes such as a slip lead right under his throat area and by his ears and nothing has worked nothing. I learned using all those collars during a walk is heightened his reactiveness. He is reactive, barking and scary when he’s on his lead and people are afraid of him. This is not OK-so I watch some reactive dog training videos to learn what I’m doing wrong because once you accept it’s the trainer/owner you’re halfway to home. I ordered this halti collar from the video that was shown and it works. Just used this and his regular buckle collars. No pinch, choke, remote or anything else! I’m walking with a loose lead for the first time with him in 8 years. EIGHT damn years! He lunged one time at a dog and that was it. The rest of the time he just stood and looked people, delivery trucks, other dogs and even a man in a wheelchair on this walk I video tapped. He normally would go nuts. It is unbelievable!!! I can’t get over it within five minutes best 20 bucks I’ve ever spent. God I love this! I’ve told other friends with the same issue. Looking forward to RELAXING controlled loose leash walks! 🙌😂 Looking forward to not having every last breath of me sucked out because walks were a huge stress ball! No more! 👏🏾 Last picture chomping a pig ear proves the eye roll before the walk was drama and he’s fine! Winning!!!!

Highly Recommended, total transformation.
We have a 17 month old Border Collie absolutely brilliant with the grandchildren, loves working (looking for balls that have been hidden etc), good with control words and commands. Off the lead very good. But! put her on a lead and you get dragged to the park no matter what you do or say or do. Was recommended the Halti Headcollar by may sister in law who had similar problems with her Labrador. Found this one on Amazon Warehouse arrived the next day just in time for the afternoon walk. OK she did not like me putting the head collar on her, but she accepted it, put the lead on her and opened the gate whereas we would normally be off, she walked perfectly to heel only a 5 minute walk to the park but a total transformation. She has now worn this several times now and accepts me putting it on her and as mentioned no more pulling. I do remove the Headcollar at the park because it could get caught up in the undergrowth, but again no problems when I put the head collar back on her to get home. I will just mention that at 75 years old and on a waiting list to get on the waiting list for a knee replacement this has been a total success from my point of view. Also, although I ordered a size 1 Headcollar I would like to point out that she is a small collie and a size2 would be big.

Not enough adjustment for small dogs
Bought the smallest size for my toy poodle and it is still far too big for her. Neck straps are far too long even on the shortest length and one twist of her head and she is out of it. Good quality product if your dog is big enough!

Lifesaver
My 1 year old lab is 31kg and our walks were miserable. He pulled so much, we hated going out, and my arm felt like it was being ripped out of its socket! He’s such a good boy indoors, but outdoors he didn’t want to know me. He’s having training classes but nothing was helping. The head collar has changed our walks. They’re calmer, he listens, and we both enjoy going out now. It was a lot easier to put on than his harness, which surprised me. He isn’t a fan of having it on when we stop, but is absolutely fine as long as we’re moving. I make sure to let him sniff around and enjoy the walk without pulling on him. I also make sure to reward with treats whenever he does well so we can keep training going and hopefully do without it one day. However, for the time being, it’s a godsend. There’s a reflective bit on the nose so it’s ideal at night. It was easy to adjust. I wouldn’t advise leaving them unattended with it on as it can be chewed through, but it’s well made and by a well known brand. Great value for money and a totally lifesaver

A walk in the woods
A few weeks ago whilst my dog was dragging me up the lane we managed to almost stop to talk to a neighbour. This was only because he was out in his front garden with his seven (!) dogs all of whom wanted to have a conversation with mine. I was almost horizontal at this point and my ears were bleeding with the noise, however, in amongst all the chaos and mayhem I heard him say “halty, look on Amazon” he called out as I was swept away…. So I did look on Amazon, and there I found the Halti head collar. Being a cynic I read many reviews, watched several videos and eventually, after a couple more weeks being dragged hither and thither I decided to give this thing a whirl. I also invested in the Halti training lead. I waited for delivery with a certain amount of excitement...could this be The Miracle we’ve been hoping for? A couple of weeks ago our postlady gaily threw the parcel over the gate – she’s very enthusiastic in her work, which is only a bad thing when we’ve ordered something breakable and/or it’s raining. Anyhow, the Halti was here. Oh the excitement! I could hardly contain myself. Doggo? Well she gave me a funny sort of look which said – If you think I’m going to out dressed in THAT, you can think again. A little gentle persuasion and lots of treats and the collar was on, the lead attached and we were ready for off. Well. I was, but She lay down and played Dead. More treats. A couple of steps. More treats. There was a lot of rolling about and head rubbing – doggo, not me, but then, suddenly, she was up and eager to get going! It has been an amazing cople of weeks. We only have to show her the collar and she pushes her snout into it, getting lots of cuddles and praise while the lead is attached. She walks to heel and really seems to enjoy going for walks. She can still sniff the ground as we go, she can breathe, drink water, bite the occasional postlady – just kidding, it’s the male (mail?) variety she prefers – seriously, she can do what a normal, well-behaved dog does as the head collar doesn’t impede her at all, and we now both enjoy our walks. I am no longer a cynic, this truly has been a game changer and what was once a dreaded chore is now a really enjoyable experience. This has probably been the investment of around £20. I must point out that doggo is a Labrador – a Lab/border collie cross who came to us almost a year ago from an animal shelter. She was about three months old at the time and had no training, and no socialisation with other animals or humans, so this turn around has really been fantastic for her and us, her human family.

stops pulling immediately
Would highly recommend this for dogs that are not susceptible to stop pulling - was effective day one.

Pretty Decent
Packaging looks underwhelming. I hope it's a brand new product. It does look new. Sizing wise is perfect for my mini golden doodle who is 13kg.

Game changer!
Absolute game changer! Such a simple design that has revolutionised our walks! We have a strong medium dog and he wouldn’t stop pulling, this collar fixed it in one outing. Nice design, subtle and love that it rewards not pulling by being less restrictive. The reflective aspect is also a bonus. Highly recommend!
