This was the coffeemaker I was searching for!
I rarely write reviews - I cannot even remember the last one - but I had to write one for this coffeemaker. I love it so much! We have had ALL the coffeemakers. Keurig, Nespresso, Cuisinart, Breville... we even splurged on a Terra Kaffe. Some of them did too much, some the coffee was bitter, some the coffee wasn't hot (Terra, I'm looking at you!). After going back to a simple Ninja pod that was fine, I was desperate for HOT, good tasting coffee. If that's what you are looking for, this is the machine! It's not fancy, does not require anything fancy and makes spectacular, HOT coffee. I love the design (we have the dark green and it matches our house beautifully) and how easy it is to clean and maintain. My only improvement would be that the glass carafe be a bit thicker. I read this in the reviews before buying so I wasn't surprised, but I would agree that I worry about it breaking at some point. For me, though, I will happily replace that part as the rest of the machine is just that good.

quick and consistent
best coffee maker i have ever had. the simplicity of the maker and the consistency of the brew continues to amaze me. it brews a full pot in under 10 minutes, and is easy to clean. I've a bunch of different brands over the years, this is a keeper and I will not be moving on. The coffee is the perfect temperature, and its exactly the same every time i use it. 10 stars

Stop overthinking — buy it
I love coffee - let’s start with that. In college I had a Keurig. Sure, fairly convenient for those bustling mornings to class. But let’s face it - the coffee product *sucks*. So I switched back to filter coffee with a Chemex, which I love, but sometimes I just don’t have the times in the morning to sit there and measure out the grams of water I’m pouring. I bought a Ninja Duelbrew pro. And honestly, made solid drip coffee for all of the features it had. That is, until the computer died *15 months* after purchase. Reminder - their warranty is 12 months. When I contacted them, they could not sell me parts, and sent me a “limited time offer” to buy a new one at the low low price of $159.99 + $25 shipping. Ha! Went to Reddit, realized this machine was legit, and bought it. It’s simple. It makes coffee. Good coffee. Really, really good coffee. And it looks gorgeous. It’s a simple machine that perfects brewing drip coffee. Two mechanical switches, and a bunch of copper heating elements. That’s it. No computers to break, no fancy gizmos. As an engineer, sometimes gizmos are fun, but what’s more fun is something engineered to near perfection. That’s what this coffee maker is. Pro tip — if you want this machine but think you’ll miss having one that you can set up at night to brew in the morning, just buy a $12 smart plug. I use a smart plug with this, and am able to get everything laid out the morning before. Using apple home, I have it turn on at whatever time I want, with the coffee and water already filled. And boom - great coffee, at the time I need it. Sure, it’s not as *fancy* to grind your beans the night before. But hey, it still tastes delicious, and is the best tasting coffee I’ve been able to produce from home. So just buy it. It’s a coffee machine with a 5 year warranty, where else can you find that? Most catchy name machines are designed to last 1-2 years and be thrown away. Do yourself, and the environment, a favor and buy a machine that could last years and years to come. It’s worth every penny

Will brew forever no matter what setting it is on
When I received my Moccamaster I ran a full pot of water through it before making coffee like the manual suggests. I filled the water reservoir over the full water line and it used all of the water, but I didn’t think much about it. This morning when I went to brew some coffee, I switched the button from a full pot to a half pot, and it again used all of the water in the reservoir, it did not stop brewing after making half of a pot. As an experiment, I continued adding water the reservoir while it was brewing to see if it would keep going and it did. It doesn’t matter if I have the switch on the front toggled to a full pot or to half a pot, this coffee maker will keep brewing forever and ever until it runs out of water I am returning mine. Given that this machine only does 1 thing and given that there are only 2 buttons in it, I would expect and hope that both buttons work correctly.

Great Machine! A little pricey
I only took a star off because I think the normal price is a little high for this. I feel like it should realistically be in the $250 range. You're paying for the name. Build quality is decent, but there was more plastic then I was expecting. It all does seem like its by design though and as long as your not throwing this thing on the ground very often, this thing should last you a good while before parts have to be replaced. It's a very simple machine. Other then that, this thing makes great coffee. That's it's whole purpose and it does it very well. It was an easy set up out of the box. The manual that comes with it gives you great info on the ratios you should use. Quality of the coffee is really going to come down to the freshness of your coffee. Grocery store bagged stuff is still going to taste like grocery store bagged stuff maybe slightly elevated. I can tell you that with fresh beans from a local shop, this thing shines. I normally do pour over with my Chemex (which I still love), but this thing provides close to the same results in half the time without the guess work. Perfect temp too. Chemex is still coming out on weekend mornings when I have time, but this baby is taking over for the work week. As I said previously, it's a very simple machine. There's no timer on it or anything on it so what I've done is I have this connected to a Govee smart plug, prep the night before and just have the plug scheduled to turn on at a certain time so my coffee is ready when I'm walking out the door. This has worked flawlessly. Although a bit overpriced, it so far has been living up the hype. We'll see how it holds up in the long run but I'm happy I purchased this.
