Protective carrying case for headlamps NOCTILIGHT compact headlamps, Multicolor, becomes a lantern

Bought a Petzl Swift SL recently and added one of these to the basket to go with. Wasn't expecting it to do what it said on the tin (beyond just being a storage case) but actually, what a brilliant idea. A head torch storage case that can turn said torch into a "lantern". Sounds daft but it really does work. It's a very well thought out design. It has enough room in it for the torch, attached headband, supplied soft bag and USB cable (well... I've managed to squish them all in there) and it can be operated easily enough through the pliable sides. Once it's all zipped up inside, it's a really neat handy palm sized light source which you can hang up. The resulting dispersed / diffused light is really impressive. Highly recommended.

Bought it earlier on in the year, put my head torch in it (a Biolite, not a Petzl but it fitted just fine), then the camping trip got cancelled and there the two sat unused; that was until we had a power cut two nights ago. WOW, is this little gadget good. Bright, but doesn't catch your eye, sat on the mantle piece and seemed to light up the whole room. Yes, I know that wasn't it's intended use, but hanging inside a tent this 'lamp' is going to dammed efficient.

Brilliant bit of kit to keep your headtorch safe, but it doubles up as a hanging light once headtorch is inside, it has a hook to attach to a tent pole or hang up somewhere you need extra light. Very hardwearing case . Worth every penny.

It work’s really well. But it’s very pricey for what it is. Just wait for a sale like I did.

Bought as a gift. I was very impressed that a head torch could multitask so well by transforming into a brilliant lamp for camping when placed inside this little case. It is really clever - I would buy one for myself and would definitely recommend.

This simple little accessory turns your head torch in to a lantern that can be hung up or sat flat on a surface to create a little light. it's plastic and the light clicks securely in place and you can fold your headband into the base so no need to remove it. There is even enough space to carry a spare battery (which you will need by the way especially if you use the torch on full brightness for any period of time). Great for camping or incase you have had enough of wearing the head torch.

Partner used this as a bed lamp on a bottom bunk for 6 months. Was surprisingly bright and easily movable. Would be good for a camping trip, traveling person, hostels and such. Didn’t know it but the hook/strap wraps around the base for storage and is quite long

Great little device and perfect for lighting up a small area. We have all been there and just hung our headlamp from a hook to act as a makeshift lantern, and I will continue to do so if I have to put it back on right away. But with this, if I just need to use it as a lantern, it works great. The lens is frosted, sending light in a broader range vs. being direct from the headlamp. It's easy to store the headlamp in, and I was skeptical about the button to turn it on, but it worked great. It's also a great way to store your headlamp when packing it away or in your gear. It also works with some off-brand headlamps.

Es muy corriente este estuche se desbarató en menos de un año. Se cuarteó todo el plástico. No lo recomiendo. Compré lámparas y pilas y esos productos de esta marca muy muy buenos. Lástima de la calidad del estuche del plástico

Há 3 anos, quando comprei, foi numa promoção boa aqui na Amazon, e este custo x beneficio foi imbatível. É uma ferramenta que, olhando assim a foto do produto e se deparando com o preço, você rapidamente pensa "bem capaz que vou pagar tudo isso por um pedaço de plástico que faz o mesmo que uma sacola". Porém, ao longo do tempo, quando vejo a proteção e preservação que a capa difusora provê para a lanterna, posso dizer que vale muito, e digo mais: só me arrependo de não ter comprado muito antes, tanto a headlamp da Petzl quanto o estojo difusor e protetor! O material plástico rígido (parte laranja) é excelente, e o maleável transparente amarela um pouco com o tempo, mas, é resistente. Além disso, há um cordão elástico para pendurar no teto da barraca ou em qualquer lugar que precise de uma lâmpada (a junção do elástico no anzol de plástico está soltando; acredito que não será difícil arrumar isso quando arrebentar). O zíper é YKK, o melhor que há, mas o puxador se desprendeu depois de cerca de um ano de uso, porém, bastou eu recolocar no descarrilhador, apertar um pouco com alicate e deu tudo certo, embora o zíper agora tenha ficado um pouco mais travado! Este seria o único ponto de atenção à marca. Sinceramente, nunca achei que fosse durar tanto! Depois de 3 anos de uso, permanece funcionando bem, e carrego a lanterna direto na mochila dentro deste estojo! Muita montanha, muito plantão, treinamento e resgate no Cosmo, escaladas, na manutenção de trilhas, em trekkins, hikings, e até trabalhos manuais como costura, etc! Objeto de EDC (Every Day Carry - carregamento diário), que não sai da mochila!
