Amazing paper quality for gel ink and fountain pens
My mentor was very smitten by these notebooks and I bought a few to gift him then was tempted to try one and I can see why. The paper quality is amazing, it works most perfectly with gel inks though I have used some fountain pens on it too. The paper can be too glossy for some types of pencil leads. The cover can glisten in daylight ( it has some sort of very fine glitter) so I would prefer a notebook with fully mat cover but it's not a deal breaker for me.

best quality paper
This is by far the best notebook I have ever used: the paper is silky smooth, it does not absorb fast so you do not get blobs of ink. Bleedthrough is almost non-existent. The paper feels nice to write on. The cover has some metallic effect so it shimmers when light falls on it. I have been writing in this notebook with a Lamy Safari with an EF nib. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic for fountain pens. Notebook opens flat. At 192 pages for paper of this quality it's a steal as well.

Have had several of these and can never go wrong. If you’re using fountain pen and looking for quality paper then this is it despite the insane inflated prices given the import from Japan.

Premium-Notizbuch aus Japan
Das Notizbuch verfügt über einen weichen, flexiblen Einband aus Pappe. Im Inneren befindet sich das glatteste Papier, das ich je gesehen habe, noch glatter als das von Rhodia. °_° Es ist leicht cremeweiß und riecht gut. ^^ Es ist mit 7mm Abstand liniert. Das erste Blatt ist grau und mit einem Index-Vordruck versehen; die restlichen Seiten haben auser den Linien keine weiteren Markierungen und sind nicht numeriert. Das Papier verträgt Füllertinten sehr gut. Allerdings trocknen diese recht langsam, so daß man etwas Geduld oder ein Löschpapier braucht. Im Vergleich zu dem beliebten Tomoegawa-Papier ist dieses hier deutlich dicker und weniger durchscheinend. Insgesamt ein sehr hochwertiges und empfehlenswertes, wenngleich nicht gerade günstiges Produkt. Das Buch steckt in einem dünnen Schutzumschlag aus Plastefolie.

Premium Journal
I love this brand of journal so much that I have ordered it several times. I love the feel of it. I love that my fountain pens love it. It is portable, unlined, and off-white, or creme to be exact. This is my go-to journal choice along with Life Noble. Both are in my opinion, alongside Tomoe River the best brands an avid journal writer can purchase and both are available on Amazon reasonably priced.
