Bellissima Diffon Ceramic Diffuser Hair Dryer for Curly Hair

This is the BEST hair dryer for curly hair! My old hair dryer with a standard diffuser always had too much airflow and just blew my hair around without actually diffusing. The Bellissima amazing! Air doesn’t blow straight out of it. It’s actually diffused so you can easily pile your curls up and they stay in place. At first I thought it was going to take forever to dry but no! It dries even faster and the frizz is gone! I use the low setting with very little heat too. I know it’s a little pricey but it’s worth every penny.

I don’t write a lot of product reviews. But this diffuser is the best in the diffuser is the best I’ve ever used. I came looking for a diffuser attachment for my trusty blow dryer, but the Cyber Monday price in this couldn’t be beat, so I took the chance. Pros: I’m so happy I purchased because I haven’t had curls this tight outside of the salon EVER. I only ever get this quality of low-frizz when I’ve paid $250 and driven across town and sat for 3 hours in the salon chair. I even SLEPT on this hair and this is what it looks like next morning! C’mon! And I love that the curls look super defined and heavy, but feel very light and soft to the touch. Major bonus, the unit doesn’t get hot to the touch, which is a problem I’ve had with my blowdryer. I never felt like my scalp or hand was on fire using this, and it puts out a good quality of heat. Con: That’s right, singular. There is one con and that’s how slow the dry is. Like, you will be sitting for an hour doing this and if you have thick hair or a tight curl, it’s STILL not going to be completely dry. That said, after 45 minutes it was dry enough to move on with my day and the remaining air dry did nothing to change the quality of curl because the diffuser had already locked it in. I’ve truly never been so blown away by a product. My only regret is not buying the fancier unit, but this one will do just fine for my needs and the fantastic price point.

I had my eye on this hair dryer for a while. The ads showing before and after hair pics, while hard to believe, drew me in, but I couldn't justify spending $100 for a hair dryer. When I received an Amazon gift card, I decided to try it. I fully expected to use it once and send it back, because, for the price, it needed to work wonders on my hair and I couldn't see how a dryer could do that. I've used it once, and it's not going back! I don't know how this dryer works so much better than any other dryer/diffuser I've tried, but it does. The info that came with the dryer also said my hair would stay curly after sleeping on it overnight. I thought well, that's a lie - there's no way that's gonna happen, but when I woke up on day 2 - my hair was still curly enough that I could have touched it up in a couple of places and left the house. It's hard to believe a hair dryer can make this much difference, but it does. Parts of my hair where the curl pattern has waned were curly again after using this dryer, and my hair stayed looking great all day (that has also never happened with a standard dryer and diffuser). I love it. Other notes: I have fairly thick, nearly shoulder-length hair and it took between 10-15 minutes to dry my hair completely. I use the low setting and will probably not use the higher setting because it's so hot. The dryer is more comfortable to use than a standard dryer. I'll definitely take this dryer when I travel on road trips and maybe on plane trips, depending on luggage space. It takes up as much space, maybe more, than a standard dryer with a removable diffuser.

I was hesitant about buying another hair dryer and thought about this one for a few months. I decided to get it on Prime Day. This hairdryer was much better than I expected. I have fine gray hair that is prone to frizzy, really frizzy. I have dozens of hair products to tame the frizz but only had so so results. It wasn’t my products that caused the problem, it was the dryer. Bellissima’s magic is the consistent heat that allows me to keep the dryer in place while blow dry my hair. No more moving the dryer around because it got too hot for my scalp. This allows the hair to dry without breaking the curl. It may take a tad (minute or so) to dry my hair but it is so worth it. My curls are shiny and healthy. No more frizz! As an added bonus the grip is easier on my arthritic hands. So worth it!

I already have a Dyson, and I love it. I was influenced on FB and thought I’d give it a try. Well, it’s not any better than my Dyson, it is lighter than it though. I did the job, but it took me longer to dry. I returned it because for $99, I needed more. Again, it is really light.

Arrived promptly. Works great! Easy to hold. Does not damage hair. Curls come out just right. Very pleased with this purchase.

This dryer is. . .OK. I have very thick curly/wavy/sometimes frizzy hair and was hoping for a miracle with this dryer-better curls, same or less drying time, ease of use, etc. I have used it 3 times now and I really want to give this dryer a chance. I honestly can't see a difference between my small 1850 dryer with a sock diffuser that I've been using forever and this dryer. It is easy to hold, it doesn't grab or pull your hair, the heat is good and my hair did dry in about the same time as with my go to dryer/diffuser which is about 5 minutes. I do let me hair air dry for a bit, as I said thick and all the curls. In the commercials the women have had shorter, thinner or curly when wet hair so maybe mine is just the oddity because I coax my hair to curl; full air dry my hair is wavy with some ringlets, the roots just wavy/frizzy and I definitely need product. I am contemplating returning it as I wouldn't normally spend this much on a hair dryer. To not see a remarkable difference, it wouldn't be worth the $. I do need a trim/reshape of my hair so I'll try it a few more times after that but wanted to give my experience with it. Maybe my hair just too thick/heavy for this dryer. I WIll update soon, there is a time frame to return it I'm sure. Thanks for listening! Update: I returned the dryer, is great quality and heat as all good but my hair not a good candidate for this one.

I do not have naturally curly hair, but I am able to use what I have and make beautiful waves with this diffuser. It’s much simpler than an extension and easier to pack even though it’s bulky I like that it’s all in one piece and I don’t have to worry about adding and removing something off of a blow dryer and it’s super comfortable to hold and I like that it works really well and has two strengths. Owning a diffuser is a game changer.!

Its so easy to use , not heavy and really helps to bring out your curls .. highly recommend

I waffled between this version and the more expensive fancy version, but I'm really happy I ended up with this one. My hair is type 2C and just above the shoulder, so this one works extremely well. If my hair had been longer and more curly I would have gone with the upgrade. I am amazed at the importance of a good hair dryer for curly hair! This one is designed for curlies! I do curly hair routines and my greying hair (in need of a cut) was starting to be less and less curly. I had used a diffuser on my old hair dryer, but this dryer makes a remarkable difference! And I love how light it is -- it makes drying the back of my head so much easier. Important note: when it arrives and you plug it in, you might need to press the reset button. I've seen a couple of reviews where people said it didn't work out of the box and I wonder if that is why.
