Not a bad knife for the size and price. It's the first time I've had a knife with this kind of lock, though. That's the one new thing I had to get accustomed to. Other than that, it's light, balanced, and easy to sharpen or hone. Good knife for the value, for sure. ***Edit: Over a year later, and this CJRB Pyrite still holds up. I'm used to carrying folders that were a bit on the hefty side, but don't let the lightweight nature of the Pyrite deceive you. This knife stays sharp. I hone it regularly with a nice, soft piece of Latigo leather. You can feel how solidly the blade has been hardened when you knock the spine against your knuckles. And for the price, this squares up with bigger brand names for its' form and function. This knife comes in handy and does its' thing well. CJRB is a brand you should look into when it comes to quality knives. 10/10, highly recommended, bumped up my review to five stars from the previous four.

Sharp out of the box. Really smooth action and feels very sturdy. Nice handle, enough room for a firm grip, doesn't slip. Very functional drop point blade, very handsome knife. All materials, fit, action seem top notch. For about $50--you can't go wrong. I find it very useful around the house and yard

It’s a budget knife that is worth buying. I prefer a flipper to a thumb stud but I also like a button lock. It’s sharp, it looks good. It’s a good edc. I watched a video of the reviewer trying to hammer a nail I two with this knife. It didn’t end well. That’s not my intention with this knife. It cuts and slices. It fits well in my pocket. It’s fidget friendly. It’s a good looking affordable basic use pocket knife. I’m glad I bought it.
