Decent accessory
Works as needed. All I do is plug it in my MacBook and it’s ready to work. It doesn’t get hot at all. It’s pretty durable, as I wack it past everything I walk by🤣. Good value, it’s small and fits in a purse.

Hub Great for What I Need
The hub arrived as advertised. It works great for my MacBook and allows me to connect a variety of items that I need. The price was great and I absolutely love the purple.

This unit works great on my MacBook Pro laptop.

Did not last a year but warranty honored
It worked great for 10 months, but then suddenly stopped functioning. It now heats up considerably when being plugged in, and does not recognize anything plugged into it. It should be under warranty, so let's see if the company will honor it. I probably used it five times before it failed. UPDATE: The company, Hiearcool, answered my email same day, was polite, and is sending a replacement hub with no hassle. I've raised my rating from two stars to four in response.

Just what I needed.
Makes my life easier. I only have 1 USB on my laptop and I use that for my mouse. Having this made it easier to plug in additional items like CD drive, photo drives and more.

Okay but doesn’t work consistently
Edit: Seller gave full refund so I raised to 5 stars. I bought this so that I could read a microSD card on my MacBook. This device worked well for that. But then I tried using one of the USB slots for a cordless mouse and that was not great. The mouse would work, then not work. If I jiggled the hub around, I could usually find a spot where it would work for a while but then it would stop working again. I tried a USB hub to read a thumb drive and it would connect then disconnect after a few seconds and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get my MacBook to see it again. Ultimately, I couldn’t make it work as I needed the connection to last, I’ll keep it to use strictly for reading SD cards, but the USB slots just don’t work well enough to use it for that. I’ll have to buy a better one if I end up needing more slots.

Cute & super useful
I love this hub. The color is cute and it allows me to use usb connections on my macbook. no issues at all.
