AUTOXBERT Wing Mirror Glass Left Side Heated Aspherical Fits Audi A6 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 with Backing Plate

When my original Audi A6 Avant passenger wingmirror glass separated from the heated backing I went to the local Audi dealer for a price to replace it.After picking myself off the floor I checked out the options on Amazon and took a punt with this as lost reviews suggested it would fit my 2018 Audi A6 Avant S Line.It arrived quickly and was very well packaged.After a bit of faffing I managed to fit it and immediately tested the heated mirror as some reviews suggested that didn't work...... mine didn't work.So, I removed the new mirror and looked closely at the cars wiring spade connectors. After going at them with a wire brush to remove the grey layer of tarnishing from the inside of the plugs I put it all back together and the heated element worked as expected (you can test it by leaning it for a few minutes then feeling if the glass has warmed up)I'm really happy as I'm about £50 better off than I would have been if I'd got a genuine one from Audi, and I can't tell the difference between the original and this copy.

Looks like original - heater element not working but could be the connections didn't meet up and possibly my fault so won't score down.

I bought this thinking this might not fit but on the contrary. My wing mirror glass smashed a few days before my car test. When this arrived it was well packaged with bubble wrap. The heat element plugs were a perfect fit. The mirror then clicked in nicely. I was careful not to force anything just in case. Overall I was very impressed.

Easy to fit took about 15 mins … very easy … very happy

My old wing mirror flew off whilst driving so enquired with Audi, who wanted £65 for a replacement heated mirror. Anyway, I found this for just less then £16 and it fitted perfectly and also has the heated element part. It’s perfect. And nobody would ever realise it’s not an Audi issued mirror! Win win

The glass fell out of the left hand side wing mirror on my car while I was on holiday. We ordered the replacement on Saturday afternoon, it arrived on the Sunday, and my husband fitted it straight away much to my relief

Seems like the a6 has a design flaw here and this product helps to sort that out when it occurs. Much easier to fit than I expected and works perfectly.
