Q: is this good for baby hand/footprints to keep

It could be used for baby handprints yes, a couple of considerations to be bear in mind. You would have to kneed it for a good time to get their little hands to make an impression and the finished product may crack when it dries and shrinks. To address this add pva while you kneed the clay soft. And of course wash their little hands thoroughly afterwards.

Q: how long do you have to wait before you can paint

I always found it best to wait until the outside was completely dry (timing seems to vary by how humid the room is - I tested it by touch, and by seeing if it leaves an indent when pressed). I found that some paints don't stay well on it though. It seems to produce moisture a long time after seeming fully dry, which makes some paints stay sticky. Might want to test whatever paints you/kids plan to use on a bit of it first.

fast delivery considering it came a long way! and an excellent product, far superior to other clays I have used, can be worked very easily when wet and when it has dried and hardened. Takes a little longer to dry than states on the tub but still an excellent product.

Lovely Clay

Great fun to play with, quite springy and spongy, moulds really well, great sharp casting from detailed moulds. Didn't do any modelling with it, I prefer other clays for that. Brilliant to paint, use inks, water colour or acrylic paints, or use watercolour pens and spritz with water to blend them.

Good product but pricey

I needed this quickly and guaranteed so my little one could make something for her mothers birthday. It turned up quickly and was easy enough to use, dried well and we had a great birthday present. On reflection other clays are a lot cheaper and maybe a better bet but at the time I couldnt take the risk.

Disappointed with texture and colour☹️

Sadly this product was not as expected. I thought it would be white but is ‘clay coloured’. It is not an pliable as the one I have been using by a different company. I will not remember purchased but will go back to the soft white air dry clay previously purchased.
