Do these sleeves need a perfect fit sleeve or can they be used on their own i will be using them for magic the gathering and pokémon

Im not sure what a perfect fit sleeve is, I use these for LCG's and they fit really snugly. Although the edges can catch when I'm absentmindedly shuffling my cards.
