Just taking off electrical containment drawings, also great for pipework measures, and this little beauty is making my life so much easier. It may sound obvious but its main feature is to measure distance - push along and measure, I then input that measure to spreadsheet manually. You can buy a cable and somehow it populates a spreadsheet. For my use I don't see the benefit as I think that I would spend more time fiddling with that sheet rather than what I was supposed to be doing. Other people may find it useful. The measurer is so easy to use. Its easy to input the scale, turn off the beeps (tracking beeps and button pressing). You can also lock off the scale so that you don't accidentally press the buttons and muck-up your measure. There's more things that you can do but I have not utilised these features as yet. It came in a nice box with instructions. The instructions look complicated but if you take your time and a bit of common sense you will be fine. I have bought a neoprene cover (sold elsewhere) and it will be safe and secure in my draw. Very happy.

If you just start using the Master ProXE with out reading the manual properly then your bound to end up baffled, get it right by studying how this gem works your be very please you invested in this amazing instrument, I have been mainly using this as a map reader, I have been taking lots of readings on the same length of roads, the reading match up fine, I have tested the ProXE against mechanical map readers I know that are reliable and can confirm the ProXE holds up well.

Great range of scales to choose from, very quick and easy to use. I have yet to read the instructions on its many other uses but so far I am very pleased with it. It comes in a good and study box no bigger than a typical scientific calculator, which keeps it from getting damaged. Comes already with 2nr "CR2032" batteries ready for using. I bought this based on the many great reviews I read on amazon and it doesn't disappoint. I'm an estimator by trade and got fed up with getting the scale rule out, only to find I didn't have the right scale. Using the scale master is quick and easy.

Does what it says it will do. Handy, small piece of kit.

I have worked in the construction industry as an estimator quantity surveyor for over 30 years and have always used a competitors product in the past but this is very good. It has every scale possibility you could want and is very easy to set up and use. Yes it is not 100% accurate but in fairness we are all told not to scale from drawings [but we all do]. It is quick and accurate enough for the job it does. I have no problem in recommending it. My only concern is the battery life, previous purchases have all used aa size. Time will tell on that one.

Fantastic piece of kit. Due to some drawings either being an unusual scale or not actually scaled as per stated on the drawing this has already saved me time. It has reduced the annoyance of using a scale ruler and simplified processes such as totalling various lengths. Great purchase, should've got it sooner.

Habe ein Messgerät gesucht, mit dem ich Ovale Formen genau auf deren Länge messen kann. Dies ist damit möglich. Jedoch wird anscheinend über eine Lichtschranke der durch die kleinen Löcher in der Messrolle angesprochen. Dies hat zur folge, das auch bei einer ungewollten Rückwärtsbewegung das Zählwerk addiert. Dadurch ist es leider manchmal notwendig, eine Messung mehrfach durchzuführen. Von der Genauigkeit bin ich aber positiv Überrascht.
