If you give presentations using PowerPoint in situations where your laptop computer is across the room, connected to a digital projector, you need this so you don't have to be "that guy" constantly calling to an assistant, "next slide please." It is simple to use. Remove the small receiver from the rear of the pointer device, insert it in your computer's USB port, and turn it on. It has five buttons. Two that make PowerPoint slides advance forward or backward, one that plays or exits PowerPoint slide show, and one that blacks the screen until you click it again. This is useful to eliminate visual distraction during a discussion mid-presentation. The fifth button turns on a laser pointer while it is pressed. It has a terrific range, and will keep its connection across a large room, and function while aimed in most any direction. I once did a lecture with a different device that required me to aim it precisely at the laptop for it to receive the signal. Not so with this one. One thing I discovered, is that when you insert the receiver USB, it disables the laptop's mouse or track pad, so have your PowerPoint slideshow up and running beforehand.

I bought this as a back up for public speaking engagements and it works like a charm! The clicker allows me to complete a seamless presentation without "next slide" commands distracting the audience. This backup came up useful when a particular agency forgot to bring there clicker and suggested I sit an audience member by the laptop to click the slides along--not! I had my back up. Easy to use, great quality, great price. Highly recommend!

Check out this cool PowerPoint clicker, with a Laser! I was really impressed by this wireless PowerPoint Presentation Clicker. It has a built in usb receiver that plugs right into your computer and starts working immediately, no installation required (that was the case for me at least) It’s some some really great features and best of all, it has a LASER POINTER! The range was more than acceptable, I was even able to control the presentation from two classrooms away. This would probably work great in a large auditorium if you needed that. Thanks, I’ll be buying a few more as gifts for my friends and colleagues.

So far the product work great but the safety rating for the laser pointer says “Glass 3” instead of “Class 3” If they can’t even get that right, it makes me doubt that any testing is done at all. Typical “Made in China” product

First of all, it’s super easy, plug and play, all I need to do is to put in two AAA batteries, take the USB dongle out and then plug it to the computer, and it works like a charm. Four buttons to control the PPT and it does everything I need during the meeting, start the power point, temporary blackout the screen, and the most useful buttons, next and previous. The laser light goes very far, dark or bright room. Highly suggested. Hopefully the next version includes the option of USB type C dongle as well, my laptop has more open Type C interface than type A interface, still enough for me, but my next refresh on my PC will likely have even less type A, and more Type C ports.
