Great feeling faceplate for the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. What you lose in the rubber grips (that often peel off of the stock controller unfortunately) you gain in flair. The clear shell is reminiscent of the transparent era of technology and the glow in the dark is a neat added trick. It glows a pretty vibrant green, and while it’s not a very long lasting effect it is pretty cool. ExtremeRate makes great aftermarket parts that are as good or better than OEM quality honestly. The separating tool that’s included worked well for removing the original faceplate. The new faceplate snapped right into place without the need for any extra hardware. The ergonomics of the standard design are unchanged with this modification. Overall, highly recommend.

The oem faceplate on my Series 2 developed a crack, so it was time too look for a replacement. I've purchased from extremerate before so I came to them again. Very happy with the fit, finish, and quality overall. Excellent replacement that really looks awesome as well. Being able to see the intricate internals of the controller is very cool. The kit comes with about everything you'd need, I just recommend using your own pry tool rather than the provided one as it seems pretty fragile. Feels good in the hand, looks good, is a cost effective upgrade or replacement, and dkesn't hinder the functionality of the controller, fit and fitment are spot on in my case. Highly recommend.

The transparent look of the controller is a great modification for the v2 and helps it stand out even further from other controllers. The tools included with the kit were enough to get the replacement job done. Installation was fast and easy. Buttons, analog sticks, and triggers felt just as responsive as they did before the job. This is a great replacement faceplate for the price.

I'm a sucker for transparent electronics and these is no exception. The shade of green gives that OG Xbox vibe and the silver screws inside pop nicely under the faceplate. It looks great and feels quality in the hand, with just the right amount of texture, despite being smooth plastic (it has a matte or frosted feel that is a little bit slippery, as opposed to the tacky feel of glossy plastic.) The hardest part of installation is getting the stock faceplate off. Once you do that I recommend just removing the adhesive so any future repairs or modifications will go much easier. The actual act of installing this faceplate is dead simple, it just snaps right on with a satisfying click.

The tool that they sent with it is completely useless. it broke almost immediately while trying to open up my controller. I ended up using some guitar pics to open it. Highly recommend getting a tool kit for this sort of thing before purchasing. Other than that, it turned out great. The ABS plastic is high-quality and goes really well with the black accents of the buttons and joysticks. I honestly prefer the feeling of the ABS plastic far better than the stock shell. It feels more sturdy and slightly textured like the old-school Xbox controllers. It fits perfectly and looks stock with the rest of the controller. The joysticks and buttons aren’t affected at all by the change and are still fully articulate and comfortable to press. In conclusion, I love the modification and it was a complete upgrade to the controller, Making it feel completely unique and custom. Highly recommended.

I've been dealing with peeling groups on my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller for the past year or so. I've been putting it off until now and I wish I'd had done it sooner! Not only was the installation extremely simple, but the faceplates were swapped out in under 5 minutes. If you're a little bit less DIY inclined don't be too worried as the faceplate snaps right off only requiring a little bit of persuasion from a pry tool. There were absolutely no compatibility issues, with a faceplate fitting in seamlessly.

It's great, I used the flash for visibility. I love the way it looks and it's way better in person.

I ordered the green clear version to replace the one that came on the controller which had peeling grips. I was worried it would look or feel cheap, but I am surprised and happy to report that the product quality is fantastic and it looks much better than I had anticipated. I almost wish I'd ordered one of the soft touch covers, but I will be enjoying this one for a long while.

Ero un po scettico ma mi sono dovuto ricredere la cover è perfetta e si adatta perfettamente anche sulla scocca originale. ok la cover originale da un effetto piu' "premium" con quella plastica gommata e la parte antiscivolo ( che si è staccata sul mio... ) ma questa non è assolutamente cheap anzi ha un finitura satinata che garantisce un buon grip senza sbavature o imperfezioni. la consiglio a tutti quelli dove, come nel mio caso, l'originale ha iniziato a cedere. unica nota negativa ma che non influisce sul prodotto è lo strumento per lo smontaggio incluso... più che smontare la scocca si smonta 2 secondi dopo di utilizzo, quindi se non ne avete di più seri vi conviene procurarvene uno.
